I'm absolutely LOVING this mahl stick! It's very sturdy but so light—I hardly feel like I'm holding anything! And I really appreciate that it's able to be used as a long stick or a short one at my desk by using only the top half.

Great tool
I bought this a while back when I was trying to get back into painting after a tragic shoulder-crushing accident because it is lighter than most mahl sticks. They are true to their word. It is much easier to paint with it. It has taken me two years to regain the motivation and the stamina in my right arm to paint again. I am happy with this product.

Sooooo light and yet very firm and sturdy. The attachment lets me choose the length I need. Love this mahl stick!

I kind of re made it so it swivels and stays on the drawing.
I really liked this product! It didn't really fit what I needed it for so I kind of re-engineered it. I made it so the black this that's supposed to be screwed down on something can be used a little more as a base that grips the canvas and swivels on a screw so it's not attached to anything but is pretty useful. I screwed a little metal plate through the back side of the black plastic object and made it so it can lay flat and swivel with the rod held in it securely (but not permanently). I draw on 16x20in mainly and I just need it so my wrist doesn't touch the canvas panel. I just made this with some electrical tape and a small 1x1in metal cutout plate and a screw and it works great!If you end up manufacturing my idea the only request I have is that you send me a couple of the finished products!This thing is great! I just re-made it to fit my needs a little bit!
