My afro is longer than AD and it works great on my hair. It's way better than the sponge. I use the wavy side, love how my hair turns out every time.

Just grab a sponge instead. This ain’t it!
I had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the description. Despite trying both sides, it failed to grip and twist my curls, leaving my hair looking uneven—some parts straight, others barely coiled. I was really hoping this would be a durable, longer-lasting alternative to the traditional foam sponge, but it didn’t perform at all. In comparison, the foam version works much better. For the cost, I expected better results and an easier clean-up. Sadly, this was a complete letdown.

THE BEST!!!!
This is an incredible product. If you have medium to long hair and want to get the nice curls, then say no more. It’s easy to hold and use and it has a option to actually flip the rubber spikes to the holes for the shorter and corse of hair. My main problem with these sponges is that once it gets dirty, you have to get it replaced. But with this product you have to only throw it in the sink and grab a damp rag. It’s leans right up. Doesn’t leave any thing in your hair and it really gets the job done pretty quickly. I can spin hours rotating a sponge while it takes a few minutes to complete the look I want. 10/10
