YETIRambler 30 oz Travel Mug, Stainless Steel, Vacuum Insulated with Stronghold Lid

I’ve owned and loved a 30 ounce Yeti Rambler along with a Magslider lid and add-on handle for a couple years. It has been my daily drinker since I bought it. It was expensive but worth it for me as it kept ice for a day and was very spill resistant. This travel mug is like my secret wish list for every change I would make to the Rambler.This mug comes with a twist-lock lid. It’s hard to spill with the Rambler, but I have dropped mine and had the lid blow off. That won’t happen with the twist-lock lid. The handle is welded on, not a slip-on unit that loosens over time. Yeti calls this mug “leak resistant,” but mine won’t let a single drop go even when filled to the brim and turned upside down. Ever worry about a creepy crawler getting into your water at night? Can’t happen with this! Also, this mug insulates every bit as well as my other Yeti.Gripes? The handle is a three finger loop that’s thin, flat, slightly uncomfortable and makes the mug feel heavy. The Magslider on this mug requires you to press down on part of it to allow it to slide. It’s an extra step I got used to quickly.Also, this mug is more complicated and has more parts that other Yetis. If you’re a person who likes to take things completely apart for washing, then make sure you know how to reassemble after! I’ve read a lot of reviews here from people who—I can tell—have installed the O-ring or Magslider parts wrong. They end up with leaky lids that are hard to open and close and drink holes that chug or clog. Assembled correctly, this thing is near leak proof and darn near bullet proof. If you want a simpler design, Yeti still offers the 30 ounce Rambler.Another thing, This is drink ware, not a bottle! You’re not supposed to throw it in your bag or purse and expect it to be leak proof. That’s not what it’s for!All in all, I love this thing. It’s expensive, but it’s durable in the extreme, useful in the extreme and at least everything is included, no options to buy. Worth the money!

Ours doesn’t leak at all, I read where some do. I’ve tested it several times and it never leaks. It’s Saturday and a little heavy but durable and keeps ice for days and coffee hot forever! Lol LOVE THIS! The handle could be a little bigger for hubbys hands, but it’s still great!

This cup will keep hot and cold drinks for all day. Love the brilliant color. Easy cleaning. Fantastic price. Got this one as a gift!

Bought for my son and he says it keeps ice all day, it’s big, and still fits in the cup holder in his car. No issues.

This cup will not wear out. It is made to last! It is heavier in weight. That doesn't bother me. I say it so you know it is not light weight. It will not keep my water cold 24 hours. It's not a problem because I refill it often. I found out by accidentally leaving my cup out overnight. So in less than 12 hours the water was not cold. Just so you know this. That is no issue for me. ENJOY!

The media could not be loaded.  Being a nursing professor I am always pushing my family members, students and patients to drink more water! Even mild dehydration can affect mental cognition, and mood, as well as make it harder for your kidneys and liver to function! I am a big fan of these cups, as the version with the sip lid can keep tea warm all day, or ice water cold all day. When teaching I need to sip beverages to maintain my voice for hours at a time in a classroom that is either too hot or too cold. I prefer a cup with a straw. It feels less awkward to sip from a straw than to tilt one of these big mugs up in a classroom of adults watching my every move. I ordered the cup with the sip lid, and then ordered “Yeti replacement lids with straws,” but had to return them when they didn’t fit. The inside of the cups is different -the sip lid cup has threads inside the lip that block the straw lid. And then I bought a second cup with a straw lid, but directions say not to use that lid for hot drinks, and the sip lid doesn’t fit on it. (I’m guessing either the plastic is not safe for hot drinks or yeti doesn’t want people to tip hot beverages up and have the lid come off?)So I will have to decide in the morning if it’s going to be warm enough for ice water, or if I will need to bring the hot tea mug and cope with the awkwardness of tipping it up in front of my students. I like customizing the cup with my name so that when I’m in a meeting or class with new people it is easier for them to learn my name.

I was expecting to be able to give this 5 stars as I had read and heard so many good things about the YETI. There are many many good things about it, it's very sturdy, it keeps things hot for hours, the lid comes apart for easy cleaning and it looks great. BUT it is not spill proof. If it falls over in your bag it will leak a LOT from the lid closure. This is a massive design fault so unfortunately I had to deduct a star

I needed a Yeti with a handle, the cups are just to hard to pick up without the handle, but I still needed it to fit in my car’s cup holder, this is the perfect cup to serve that purpose. Keeps my drink cold and the lid screw on so it stays on, I have had the push on kind before and the seal wears out on them making the lid come off easily. It is definitely an upgrade to my old Yeti cups. It is pricey, but since I use it every day the price really isn’t that high considering all you get with this cup. I am very pleased, highly recommend.

Como cualquier producto Yeti, excelente. Es producto original y en cuestion de aguante de la temperatura es igual a la tapa tradicional pero no se derrama y el asa que tiene es pequeña pero comoda y fuincional.Lo recomieno ampliamente.
