Perfect for my needs
Perfect for long line measurement I bowls games. Did have to add 10 yards. But that's OK.

Bit stiff to use and chalk is black
I generally live Stanley fat,as as great quality. This is very robust & well built. Slightly stiff to use though when drawing the line in & out.Chalk is black which isn’t a great colour on most backgrounds, I prefer the blue.

Not value for money
Today is the first time that I have taken this product out of its box filled it with black chalk that come with it going to use it on the ceiling that needs overboard and put the chalk in gun to unravel the string to use to on ceiling only opened out around 10 feet then the mechanism got stuck can reel it back in but will not go beyond that very stiff and unable to reel it in with ease for the money I spent I could’ve just bought a cheap one that would’ve been more reliable not happy at all and I buy a lot from Amazon 😞

Great line, but black chalk?
The line itself is excellent. Strange choice to include black chalk rather than any other colour (e.g. Red chalk would mark indoor and outdoor). Had to buy different chalk to mark soil outside for a wall being built.
