You need a very good coffee or nut grinder to grind these sticks as they are extremely hard. I needed to grind them on 4 cycles. But once turned into powder it is fine. I Use this in a tea formula. Great taste and great for detoxing the kidneys.

Very dry and little taste. Not at all like I remember it being, at all.

Bit of a toss up whether you'll get good quality ones or dry ones but typically I've gotten the good ones, taste great and if you need help wuitting smoking then if you enjoy them these will certainly help.

One star as these sticks do look like the picture. They dont taste like liquorice. More like wood. In fact...they are wood! The bark is very thin and vaguely sweet when I chewed. Unfortunatley I chewed too long and the deeper wood is bitter and tasted horrible. Im not poisoned though. I asked somebody who had chewed on a stick before, if they were supposed to be like this and they said they were. I might have suspected something was amiss at the sly grin and the urging me to keep chewing. I suppose the remaining twigs could be used as plant markers or firelighters?

I haven't had any liquorice root stick since my childhood days. Thank God I still love it.I bought two packs so it will take me quite a while to consume them.

Hard as stone! Not as I remember them as a child. Disappointed really, couldn't consume half of them, had to bin them Those I got through had good flavour, but short lived!

Ich kaue Süßholzwurzel Stäbchen seit jahren und kann sagen das ich weiss wie sie zu sein haben. Dieses Produkt ist weit davon entfernt. Als ich die Versandverpackung geöffnet habe hielt ich einen Beutel Verschnitt oder wie andere es nennen würden Abfall in den händen. Das mal unsaubere und verwachsene dabei sind ist normal und liegt wortwörtlich in der Natur der Sache aber das ist eine Unverschämtheit. Auch die Beschreibung ganze Stäbchen oder halbe ist falsch. Nur halbe oder noch weniger. Aber Ok, vieleicht schmecken sie ja gut. Pustekuchen, den üblen beigeschmack kann ich gar nicht beschreiben. Ich werde sie zurücksenden und hoffen das mein Reformhaus bald wieder welche hat.
