Extremely durable, top quality/seems high end, feels & looks amazing and i
During unboxing this item, I was very pleasantly surprised and amazed at the quality and nice feel of these utensils. I had looked @ a single acacia wooden utensil spoon at walmart, priced @ $7/per utensil and other than these Cooksmark utensils being a lighter colored wood, they ARE IDENTICAL & IN FACT BETTER, FOR WAY LESS MONEY. I haven't washed them yet, but I will update after doing so, however; on initial reaction, I would buy these again and highly recommend. The colored silicone grips are awesome, add a touch/pop of color(they aren't blindingly bright neon colors, but moreso muted and would go with most, if not all, kitchen decor styles. They also feel impeccable to the touch, very durable and high quality. Also, the silicone coated handles makes them almost "slip Proof" so when your holding it/ cooking, it doesn't slide around in your hand, won't splinter or feel weird. Definitely check these out if your wanting a high quality set of wooden/bamboo utensils, but don't want to spend a fortune on them.Side note: I must say that the package these came in, although you can't touch the picture and really see what I am Talking about :-), but is simply top knotch and very nicely thought about. I always love to see companies who put thought into their packaging as well as the item itself, because to me the packaging is what is seen right away and can tell you a lot about the company/item and can change overall opinion(IMO) . I've received some items where it was placed in a separate bag(as If it didn't even have a package in 1st place) and you could tell packaging was not a thought for those companies. SO THANK YOU & WHAT A GREAT JOB YOU DID, COOKSMARK!!

The description is great, but does not do this set justice
As soon as I unpackaged the set, I had the biggest grin. I was not expecting these. The description is great, but does not do this set justice. Cooksmark has really put thought into this,The box and the feel states this is Bamboo Material with Silicon Hand Grips which are soft and feel great in your hands. Now, the box states it is bamboo contrary to a question that was asked. I say it is bamboo or a darn good plastic, in my opinion they are bamboo. Period. The handle have a hole at the tip so you can hang these up, and they do look beautiful. They have enough weight for durability and feels good in your hands. The base of the utensils has a shellac type of material to make it shiny, I am curious if it will come off though keeping fingers crossed, but honestly even if it does come off they will still look beautiful. I did purchase these Cooksmark kitchen set at a discount and I still feel like i have won a prize. The cost is appropriate if not a steal. If you have any questions please ask. I hope this review helps you make a sound purchase, I rely on you review as well. Have a great rest of the day!

These are nice and chunky and have a nice grip
I have had problems in the past with wooden spoons being too flimsy, I’ve broken a few. I also have had issues with the small diameter handles giving my hands cramps when cooking, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. These are nice and chunky and have a nice grip. The bamboo makes them light, durable and comfortable to hold for long periods of time. These worked great when I made a large batch of apple sauce. The paddles moves the sauce and I didn’t have to worry about scratching my pots because the bamboo wouldn’t hurt them. Clean up isn’t bad either a quick dip in soapy water a scrub with a sponge, then off to the drying towel. They also have a hanging hole on the end of each spoon so you can put it in a drawer or hang them up. The paddle of each spoon is a generous size and provides great stirring, lifting or scraping capacity. The only con I have is that they are not dishwasher safe but that is the draw back on all wooden utensils.

A beautiful set but a couple of minor drawbacks
These were packaged really well, and we love the color-coded handles, which are kinda squishy. Two things to mention: despite obviously having the measurements available they seem huge compared to the ones I needed to replace. Like the basic spoon shape is larger than any other wooden spoon I have owned. It may be difficult for a wee person such as myself to taste test with it because I feel like I might need to dislocate my jaw or maybe just lap at it like a cat with a small bowl. My boyfriend has no issue with it but I also need a straw to drink from wide-mouth cans and he has zero problems. The second drawback is the handwash part. I'm pretty sure eventually we'll end up putting them in the top rack of the dishwasher and crossing our fingers due to laziness at some point. Anyone who has ever prepared a large meal, like for a holiday celebration with company, knows that if you happen to have a dishwasher you are not going to spend the next 3 hours after cooking all day, entertaining, and finally eating, washing a massive pile of dishes and cookware by hand. So fingers are crossed that they will survive the top rack of the dishwasher when the time comes.

Nice product
They're absolutely presented and delivered in a very professional method. The quality is great although they're thicker or beefier than most others that you will find.We hand wash them always because dishwashers are not recommended for obvious reasons. One of the spoons that we use regularly, is starting to show signs that it might be splitting and if so then I can say the quality - life expectancy you should expect is not much greater than the cheaper ones that you can find at any Christmas tree ship or walmart so be aware. The product is higher visual quality and designed better for the actual use, but if you're looking for a longer MTBF (mean time between failure) then this might not be worth you spending the additional dollars.I will state though that the spoon has not actually split yet, and I've never contacted the manufacturer to gather they're response on if this life span is normal or expected performance behavior.
