What are the dimensions of the hole needed and depth needed for inset into a wall? I am actually replacing an old inset tp holder from the 70's

This hole need to be 5 x 5 inches and the depth should be at least 2 3/4 inches.

How deep is the recess?

The recess itself, from the wall inward, is only a little over an inch. However, from the bar to the recess end is three inches, and fits an oversized tissue roll.

What's the depth of the unit from the outer wall flange to the deepest point of the curved section? Hoping it's no more than 1 1/16".

As best as I can tell it is 1 1/16.

How is it installed in a bath vanity?

No replaced an old chrome one in the wall. Recessed.
