Estwing E3/20BL Brick Hammer Vinyl Grip 560g (20oz), Silver

Fantastic build quality. Superbly balanced. Love the Shock Reduction Grip. Worth every penny. Estwing hammers fully deserve their 5 star reputation. 3 Month Update - 40 odd days worth of work done with it and I still love my Estwing. In fact I love it more now than when it first arrived, all shiny and new. I've used it to cut half and quarter bats when I've been too lazy to come down off the scaffold and find a Footprint/Grinder. It has also proved very useful for tidying up cuts made when I haven't been too lazy. It taps better than a trowel and cleans old mortar off bricks with an effortless nature that causes minimal fatigue. It also keeps a keen edge for a good while, showing the quality of the metal. Its true that the hammer doesn't look as lovely as when we first met, but then again, neither do I. It's whispered that ancient masonic scrolls teach that a drop of olive oil rubbed in with a kitchen towel will restore some of the lustre and, as a bonus, protect the hammer from inclement environments. Oooo-eeer missus. 20oz is fine unless your name is Popeye. I would recommend this weight as it gives the strength needed to cut masonry whilst keeping enough dexterity for more delicate work. I only wish that Estwing would make a double headed scutch hammer to the same standards as this.

Loved estwing all my working life. And after 22years i won't buy another brand of hammer. Comfortable, balanced and accurate whether its brick, claw or club. Worth every penny IMO!*****

Beautifully balanced with just the right amount of heft to do serious work but not tire you out. Excellent cushioned handle which does absorb most of the impact forces and the finely machined cutting head is both effective and precise. I have used Estwing hammers for years and have never been disappointed at their performance and longevity. Excellent product but do remember to wear eye protection as this hammer really does hammer stone work and bricks.

I have bought Estwings for years and they are always top notch, they are worth every extra penny over other makes and will last a lifetime. The Brickhammer feels great and has brilliant weight ratio, perfect.

Very good strong hammer.

This is a fantastic, durable, and useful hammer. I own a boulder opal mine in the outback of Australia. When I’m mining, I use this hammer every day. I depend on the tools I use. My tools have to do the job. This hammer is comfortable and well balanced. It’s just the right size and weight. The chisel end has held its edge surprisingly well and has remained sharp. The opposite side is a very useful hammering surface. It’s not cheap, but it’s well worth the price. It’s built to perform and to last.
