I have type 4 high porosity hair. Upon opening the package, the smell was quite nice but the product consistency wasn't as thick as I had expected. I used the leave-in on soaking wet hair, and there wasn't as much slip as I would like or curl definition. I would give this a 7/10.

Ok so I'm heavy handed and I feel like this is why it didn't work the first few times.It's definitely a summer product as it's too light for winter. Use a little if you have 4c hair and then add on as needed. I feel like they could work on the moisturizer formulation for the product. It doesn't feel like the curl cream. The cream is smooth , has good consistency, definitely moisturizes , and doesn't leave my hair feeling dry or brittle. The leave on will make my hair feel dryish if I use a lot. So I had to curb how much I'm using. Once I reduced it , it worked but I do think a better leave in condition is out there.If they could make this similar to the curl show cream they'd have a winner.

And it was excellent results.. great for heat and moisturizer.

I've tried a bunch of the more expensive curl systems, custom shampoo + conditioners, all that stuff. I gotta say that this worked better than most, if not all, of those for a fraction of the price. It gave my hair enough hold to keep the curls without feeling like there was a cast on it. I also have a lot of hair and I felt like a little went a long way (although I still laugh every time hair products say to use just a quarter-sized bit of it - does anyone ever actually use that little?). Would recommend, will probably grab another container of this when I run out.

I purchased this product thinking it would be similar to the curl creator gel. I didn’t really like that it wasn’t very moisturizing or defining on my hair.

Lightly Scented but smells Great!
