easy
Works great and easier to get out of the ground (lake) Not easy to open and close for me (I am female)I like that I can get it out of the water and it holds the boat in place.

Holds where you drop it!
I was looking for an anchor for our new boat. It is a large, 24’ wakesurf boat, so it is heavy. I’ve been boating for 45 years, and the fluke style anchors still give me trouble. I wanted something that would hold well, but is easy to use. This fit the bill. I bought the 19 lb version hoping it was small enough to fit in the anchor lock, yet big enough to hold our boat in position. It fit the bill on both accounts. It fits nicely in the anchor lock, and has no problem holding a 6,000 lb boat in place. It is also nice no anchor chain is a needed. I’m glad I decided to give this a try.

Great anchor for our 20’ pontoon
We returned the 13 pound anchor and exchanged it for this 26# model. The smaller one just wouldn’t hold if there was any wind. The 26# anchor works great! It folds nicely and stores under the seat. Make sure you have an actual anchor rope with a metal thimble so it doesn’t fray and break.

Not good
Shank came disconnected from the anchor after roughly 10 uses. Noticed boat was drifting and went to check if anchor was holding. Tugged on the anchor line and moved easy. Pulled it up and was just the shank. Really upsetting.

Only anchors your pontoon will ever need
We bought two of the 13lb box anchors, allowed us to get rid of the various other anchors we had before. We have a 20' pontoon boat, and with two of these, we're pretty much glued in place. They work very well in the different lakes we take it to.
