Should have bought sooner
Works GREAT in my basement window. Turns on and off as needed without my input.

Works great in basement!
Our basement gets stale air. We installed in a window. When in use, we make sure to open a different window to get sufficient airflow for the fan to pull all the stale are out of the basement. We run it about an hour and the job is done! The pic shows right after install. We did finish by painting the wood and hiding the cord ;) We only turn it on as needed. Our main reason for purchase is we were getting a faint cat smell due to the litter boxes being in the basement with no air movement down there. This solved our problem!

They work really well, mounting is tricky in some applications but it's worth the time!

Works great!
The air in my crawlspace was so humid that water was condensing on the paper of the insulation. Like BAD, dripping bad! I installed one of these and after 2 days I checked on it and it wasn't even running anymore. I looked at the insulation and it's all completely dry! I couldn't believe it worked so well. The area is 700 sq feet (2100 cubic feet) with 6 vents. Highly recommend!!

Broke on day 32
I bought this April 30th, it came in the mail and got it installed May 5th. Broke June 7th. I am 2 days after my return window and now I have to go buy another one. This fan is also extremely loud!! I understand it needs to more air but our crawl space vent is close to our window and it’s LOUD!

Easy install
We luve in a mobile home that retains moisture underneath. My husband is handy but installed this with ease. We have noticed a huge difference in the 2 months it's been installed. Reasonably priced and quiet when running. I like the different settings as well.

Receive what you buy.
High quality, easy to enstall and quite. Used two to pull negative pressure in crawlspace. Removes musty smell with a little work on what is causing it in the first place. The bearings are so smove I think these will run for years. I checked power consumption, 64watts and .8 amps. Moter proficiency is only 67 present, l'm not sure what that plays in the grand skeam or things. I have dehumidifiers that rate 99 pesent. My take i's a good product. However, now that l checked ele. I'm going to look up about the proficiency.J Clark home owner

Not good for quiet places.
This fan is constructed well, but is pretty noisy. There is a low pitch hum that is tolerable, but there is also a higher pitched whine that you can't ignore. I used this to exhaust an outdoor spa enclosure and it does work, but if it turns on while you are outside enjoying a quiet soak, or just sitting on the patio it sounds like a jet is flying overhead... for the next 30 minutes.
