Mag. Mount with so239 connector
Received in brand new perfect condition. First off pulled out my vom meter and made sure the connections were ok, they were. Put my Diamond antenna on. And used Rig Expert analyzer on it . All went perfectly. Great mag. Mount. Highly Recommend!

Great product
My old antenna's magnet would always blow over whenever I would meet a semi on the highway. This was a huge pain, especially if I was broadcasting at the time. I took a chance and ordered this, mounted it, screwed the antenna onto the base, adjusted the SWR, and hit the road. On the test run, met several semis, and NOT once did the antenna blow over. Problem solved, than you very much.

Works well, no problems
So far this has work very well. I was a little worried because some of the reviews said it had a problem holding. It has a soft rubber bottom, so I used some armor all on it, and wiped the area on the roof with the same. This has the effect of making the rubber sticky. I added a couple of cords in case it slipped, but have seem no evidence of it moving.

Works great for indoor use.
I use this base with an indoor antenna I purchased for a digital scanner. This is a nice heavy base with a good rubber protective cover. This does not damage the surface and has enough weight not to tip over easily. This antenna base also has a good quality cable And very strong magnet should you need it.

What I was looking for
Had bought another that flat out would NOT work. This one does. Good quality magnet, and has like a thin soft gel pad on the base. It holds well.

Came off on the highway multiple times
I put a 4ft antenna on it, so it might’ve been my fault, but it comes off way to easily and I had to stop on the highway multiple times to resecure it

Good strong Magnet, Purchased this item to hold my aerial.

Solid mount that stays in place even at highway speeds. Coax is also decent length so as I can mount it near centre of roof, run it through back passenger door, and have it reach my arm rest console where radio is mounted.
