I like having a notebook in my pocket and these fit the job. I used to use moleskins, but I got fed up with the price. While looking for a larger notebook these came up in my results and I couldn't argue with the price so figured I would give them a try. They exceeded expectations.They are sturdy books. Covers aren't going to deform easily in your pocket. I like that they have a double bookmark so you can save two pages.The paper is great. I wrote a few pages in with my fountain pen using an ink that had been a bit unruly on other paper and it looked just fine in this book without the bleed through and feathering I had seen trying it out in some of my other pocket notebooks laying around the house. It just looked good. The pages are also printed so that you can use it as daily memos/journaling, but not in such a way it distracts from using it for other uses.And it does come with a nice ballpoint pen. I tried one and it writes really smooth, although it's small size makes it a little uncomfortable to use for long...the tradeoff for portability.All in all, an excellent pocket notebook that I would recommend.

Overall... it's a good deal with good materials and put together well. I like it so much that I've ordered a lot of them (seems like a good thing eventually goes away and I plan on sticking with this for a while).Simulated leather cover is good and doesn't feel cheap. The pen loop is a quality elastic. That also goes for the elastic that keeps the book closed. The paper quality is what sold me. 100gsm is heavy stock and gives the right amount of feel when I write and not have to worry about feathering or bleed through.Fountain Pen users - this notebook works! I'm using an extra fine nib.The included pen is a bonus and a nice touch.Each page has an area with DATE / Memo # / Weather / Day. Doesn't take up much space and is a welcome addition.

Handed these out to people for a writing exercise during an event and they loved them! They're small, cute and functional. Perfect for writing workshops, giveaways, goody-bags, note-taking for work (can speak for clinical work or hospital rotations) etc.
