These candles are nice. The timer directions were a little confusing, but somehow I managed to get them to do exactly what I wanted. They can flicker or not. Your choice. You can also pick how long they will be on. All three of mine go off within a minute of each other.

I admit, I was skeptical when I bought these candles, but that skepticism has vanished. These candles are gorgeous, and you really can not tell them from the real thing, yet they pose no fire or burn hazard. The candles come wrapped in plastic, but as soon as you remove the plastic, the candles feel just like real pillar candles. I have a three-foot Christmas tree this year, and I put my candles under the tree. They look real, even up close, and the "flame" flickers just like real candles do when lighted. Well, the light flickers, but it looks like a real flame unless you examine it closely. They even cast shadows on the wall like a real flame would do. They made my tree look even more beautiful than it already was. And I love the remote and the timer. I can turn my candles on and off or set them to turn off automatically at the time I desire.These candles aren't just for the winter holidays. They would look great on a piano, on an end table, on a coffee table, etc. They will also work with holders. They would look wonderful on a table for a candlelight dinner party. And, you can adjust the brightness. I'm going to put mine in pillar candle holders when I take down my tree.These candles are a wonderful bargain. Pick up a set or two. I know you will love them!

Looking to replace a previous candle set and this pine bark motion flame candle set was the right choice. Really love the motion to the flickering, moving flame. Truly looks like a real flame candle and best of all, I can put it anywhere and not worry about starting something on fire. Works fantastic inside my wood and glass curio cabinet. The remote and candles work well together and can turn on/off from a good distance away. Timer is accurate, too. I like that it can also be dimmed, however, I keep it at full brightness most of the time. Definitely like this candle set and highly recommend if you like the motion flame of a candle, but can't or don't want a real flame.

I have had these for 4 years now and love them! I never lit real flame candles much, but I have these set to come on every evening. The “flame” looks very real.

I have loved the LED candles with remotes since I first saw them a few years ago. However, these are the most beautiful yet. I love the way the flame flickers and casts shadows on the wall/ceiling. They look just like real candles without the fire hazard. I especially like the color of these for fall as they make my home look so cozy. I'll be donating my other candles to thrift shops and try to find these same candles in other colors because the flame sets them heads and shoulders above the other candles. Well worth the price!
