Lovely colour smaller than I imagined though. Only feeds two.

Packaging was very well thought out, wow.This 2L tagine is an ideal size for two+, or a single person, with leftovers.Stellar gift, to slow-cook delicious, healthy fare during these cold months.Remember to purchase a stove-top diffuser (your Grandma might already have one.)NB: Reading the documentation and online, you learn there are new habits to adopt with this more *delicate* piece of earthenware: Think SLOW COOKING, LOW-MED heat (on the stove or in the oven); no extreme temperature changes from cold-hot water or heat; even forfeit dishsoap--for vinegar, instead, and to keep it seasoned with a coat of olive oil.An aesthetically pleasing piece to keep on your stovetop... though keep the lid safely agar to allow air flow (and avoid buildup of trapped moisture after washing it)

Ich liebe die Produkte von Emile Henry, deswegn mußte auch die Tajine zu uns.Wie gewohnt super und sicher verpackt. Farbe ist richtig schön.Im Gebrauch ein Traum. Einfach und leckeres essen.

déception de commande
j'ai télèphoné directement à la société emile henry qui approuve que le coloris qui fait turquoise sur votre site n'est pas du tout conforme aux vraies couleurc'était ma 1ère commande et j'ai été très déçue par cette mauvaise surprise car en arrivant elle était vraiment quasiment bleu marine foncé et trop brillante alors que quand on regarde la couleur sur votre proposition elle fait vraiment turquoise ci joint votre photo très trompeuse et vérifié par émile henry eux même sur le sitedommage je ne commanderais pas une autre tajine mais grosse déceptioncordialement

Following the tagine “seasoning” instructions resulted in milk boil over which was quite a clean-up.
I liked the 10 year guarantee and the fact that it is a quality piece of French cookware. After travelling in Morocco, tagine cookery is an expansion of my current cooking repertoire.. The tagine is very efficent in recirculating heat and moisture, so keep the stove turned down low. The 2 litre size is adequate for main dishes serving 4-6 people.
