Very good grip for oil filters you can get them into tighter spaces and manipulate the tool easier than other style filter wrenches.

I ordered this set for the sewer hose on my 5th wheel travel trailer. The larger pair is the one you need need. And they worked great.They are actually well made and would work good on filters also.

Some things are not industrial grade obviously, it's a cheap kit. If you buy a lot of junk like me and just need sizes, it's still worth every penny.Case is actually better than expected, pliers are what you could expect from Performance Tool or Holt.

I bought these wrenches to tighten the connections on my pool equipment and the bug one works great for that. I have not used them for an oil filter, but I am going to use them to change the oil in my tractors soon.

Pros:-It's a working tool if you are in a pinch.Cons:-Its not user friendly.-Its bulky, it will not work in limited spaces-The legs are bare metal running a high risk of scratching or even damaging your metal or plastic filter housing.***Conclusion: buy the right size filter removal tool, avoid stressing with this universal contraption that might not fit in tight spaces and will 100% scratch/damage your filters.
