I have bought these several times - they last well and are good value.

I think we’ve been brainwashed into buying that well known black and bronze brand of batteries that claim to go on and on and on. In my experience, they don’t and a couple of years back I tried Varta. They’re outstanding. I’ve used different sizes and find they all last longer than other brands. Particularly those I put in the bathroom radio…I get three or four months from Varta, around half that with other batteries. They’re competitive in price, particularly if you buy a larger pack. These work out at under 40p each when bought in bulk, but I needed next day so bought the dozen pack to tide me over and have a larger pack on order for later delivery. I think if you try these you’re unlikely to return to others. Long shelf life ( over 6 years) and very happy to recommend.

I know, they're batteries... What can you say about a battery? I bought these to put in some LED candles, and they were still going strong after four weeks of daily use. Maybe LED candles don't require much power, I don't know, all I'm saying is that for what these cost I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

These are the best batteries I have ever purchased - the longest lasting in any product I have used them in. Torches, camera etc.. do not hesitate on purchase!

Fine but have bought more cheaply elesewhere

Better battery life than Duracell and Energizer batteries you can buy for double the price. Lasted in my Xbox 360 controller for months with play every day.
