Essential for any form of stress !!!
As with all Mo's brilliant books , they are written to be absorbed slowly at your pace and every word is valuable. As someone who's studied the mind and brain , with a special interest in stress , for over 3 decades ; this is the best book I've ever read on the subject. It's clear , simple , extremely easy to understand and apply the incredible effective techniques. Whilst easy to absorb 'Unstressable ' still contains more useful , applicable information than other similar books. From page 1 , there is help and assistance to understand and deal with stress. With Alice Law to add a different perspective and level of authenticity this is a must have book. All his books , as mentioned earlier , are brilliant but this surpassed all expectations. If you only by one book about stress ... this is the one ... I promise you sincerely that it will exceed my inadequate recommendation 👍😊

Recommended by Chris Evans
As a regular listener to Virgin radio I will often buy the book recommendations.Whilst this book is interesting, it is not revolutionary like some of Chris' recommendations. Its nice to have two authors with two opposing positions and viewpoints, but the transition from one writer to another can be juvenile. I would have rather had a clear structure of 'Mo's view' then 'Alice's view' on each topic. Because of this lack of structure, examples are often repeated.Having said this, they do cover methods and practices to try and address stresses in your life rather than ignore them. Including how they have addressed some traumatic events of their own and turned them into positives. I particularly liked the idea to name your brain. By doing so you can question their motivation and ideas as a 3rd person rather than accept their negative bias that creates the stressor.

As important a book as has ever been written...
Takes 'stress' and re-positions it so that you have a clear idea what is really is, how it really works, how you can manage it and what that means. The very best thing is that this is a practical book - its not all theory and mumbo jumbo; it really helps to understand what stress rally is and why its ok so long as it is well managed.

A very readable book!
Love that it is written from their own moving personal experiences, so they understand deeply where they can help their readers.

Great Advice.. but not groundbreaking
The steps outlined are clear effective means of battling stress. I particularly liked its focus on the spiritual part of our beings, that connecting with this makes one more resilient. But I was quite bored during the parts focused on breathing, sleep, or diet.. as it wasn’t ground breaking information; things I’ve heard before.. not a deal breaker, some may be less aware of their inpact on stress - just didn’t captivate me.

A good read.
As an engineer I find this book easy to understand since Mo breaks a lot of stress mechanisms down into equations which I find much easier to understand.
