Small but mighty
This little food processor has been prefect for my needs. It's high powered and great quality. Very easy to clean and easy to use overall. The first time I used it, it stopped working in the middle of my job. However after troubleshooting and studying the manual I discovered it was an automatic shut off due to being over worked. After letting it rest for about 5 minutes it came right back on and I've had no problems with it. Now I know not to overfill it and also not to run it for too long. Would highly recommend!!!

A great product. Indispensable.
This is a wonderful tool and I use it regularly. The 4 cup capacity is much better (for me) than a 3 cup model. The extra capacity is perfectly handy for things like hummus based on a 15 ounce can of chick peas, or enough falafel based on uncooked but soaked chickepeas for two people. The 3 cup Cuisinart model, which I also have experience with, is too small for my uses. This particular model is durable and reliable and easy to clean. We have had two four cup models and the first one lasted several years-- at least ten years-- before a crack in the plastic that holds the blade developed. We have given these as gifts. Great for pestos including things like chimichurri. Also great for pureeing many things, including tomatoes. I also use it to make ginger garlic paste, as used for many Indian style dishes. This is a real "work horse" appliance.

A convenient and reliable kitchen machine
This kitchen machine works really well. I use it to grind up kitchen scraps to put into the compost. That way they break down much faster and compost forms much sooner. Grinding and chopping them up can be done without adding water. Before I would sometimes throw the scraps away because I did not have time to prepare them for the compost pile using our blender. I have also used this machine to grind up acorns after shelling them and softening them in water, in preparation for rinsing them repeatedly to make them edible. I had some trouble getting the machine to come on the first time because the top part and the handle have to be locked in place exactly right for that to happen.

Works great
3rd one I've had. The housing around blade cracks if you put too much or too hard a food in- like raw carrots.better to fill half way, short bursts. You can buy a whole new machine for not much more than cost of replacement blade...

Versatile little chopper!
This little chopper is absolutely wonderful. It does a great job in chopping nuts, onions, garlic or mixing salad dressing. Size is perfect to sit on my counter so it’s handy when I need it. Blade is very sharp. Cleans up easily in the dishwasher. Very happy with this purchase

Powerful and hearty still after 3 years
Seriously impressed with this little food processor! I've had it for three years and it still blows me away. You won't believe how fast it shreds a whole cooked chicken breast – like, under five seconds! I just put it in whole as a challenge to see if it would work. Perfectly evenly shredded! It's also a champ with salsa. Plus, cleanup is a breeze and it tucks away nicely. If you're just making stuff for yourself or a small group, this one's a winner. Definitely recommend!

No more chopping by hand!!!
I am very happy with this product! I have a bit of arthritis in my hands, that's why I ordered it. I no longer have to chop vegetables. I just put them in and the chopper does all the work! I bought the 4-cup which is a little bigger and am glad I did.

(UPDATED, my error) Lasted enough time to chop 16 oz's of fresh garlic (1 minute?)
UPDATED JULY 24, 2024I am from a strong belief that if you are wrong, you must admit it. It turns out that the lid has 2 ways of fastening. One way correctly, the other way, incorrectly. If you do not put the lid on the cup in a manner that the plastic flap on the lid depresses the spring mechanism on the cup, the plastic dot will NOT push the button and release the lock for the chopper to work. The chopper works fine. I will use it for some time and if all turns out well, I will increase my new 3 star rating to a 5 star rating. My apologies for "jumping the gun."(I am so use to receiving junk, one has a negative attitude instantly. Lesson learned here.)ORIGINAL:Everyone else who posted a 5 star review must have been very lucky!I used mine right out of the box (after cleaning the cup holder) and ground 16 oz's of fresh garlic cloves.STOPPED WORKING.It turns out that there is a little plastic dot on the bottom of the chopper / grinder CUP, that when the cup is locked in place, the little plastic dot activates a small button.Well, after the first use, the little plastic dot doesn't activate the button. The plastic on all of this is so cheap, it is worse than a children's toy. I assume that after sliding the cup into locking place, the little plastic dot wore down! What a piece of junk! For the minute it worked, it ground my garlic fast. But it is cheap plastic junk. I am going to try to put some plastic glue on the little dot to see if I can get the piece of garbage to work again.I don't know about everyone else, but MOST everything that I buy, even the "BEST" name brands are JUNK. Nothing is made like before.
