Cuisinart ECH-4SV Elemental 4-C Chopper Grinder, Silver

This little food processor has been prefect for my needs. It's high powered and great quality. Very easy to clean and easy to use overall. The first time I used it, it stopped working in the middle of my job. However after troubleshooting and studying the manual I discovered it was an automatic shut off due to being over worked. After letting it rest for about 5 minutes it came right back on and I've had no problems with it. Now I know not to overfill it and also not to run it for too long. Would highly recommend!!!

This is my second food processor ever. I have a very small kitchen and needed a smaller processor but not to small. I really do not have the space for a full size food processor. I use this one everyday to grind meats and veggies for my dogs, turtles and tortoises It works great. To me there isn't much difference between chop and grind. It comes out looking about the same. I would prefer a processor with more functions but I do not see that with smaller models. This processor has made my life much simpliar. It is a real time saver.

The media could not be loaded. This Cuisinart 3-Cup Mini Chopper in Anchor Gray (CCH-3AG) has become an absolute staple in my kitchen, earning a solid 5 stars! Horrible. Will shut down if you use it for more than 10 minutes at a time. Even processing food items for less than a few seconds at a time, this "food processor" automatically kills itself and won't work again for at least 15 minutes. Don't buy this thing unless you like waiting around for it to start working again. Complete waste of time and money!

I liked the looks and size but it was not powerful enough for my needs .

This is a wonderful tool and I use it regularly. The 4 cup capacity is much better (for me) than a 3 cup model. The extra capacity is perfectly handy for things like hummus based on a 15 ounce can of chick peas, or enough falafel based on uncooked but soaked chickepeas for two people. The 3 cup Cuisinart model, which I also have experience with, is too small for my uses. This particular model is durable and reliable and easy to clean. We have had two four cup models and the first one lasted several years-- at least ten years-- before a crack in the plastic that holds the blade developed. We have given these as gifts. Great for pestos including things like chimichurri. Also great for pureeing many things, including tomatoes. I also use it to make ginger garlic paste, as used for many Indian style dishes. This is a real "work horse" appliance.

Love this chopper. Efficient and big enough to chop even larger onions. Perfect for home cooking.

Just the right capacity when you are preparing for small family.
