This sander out-performs all the other mouse sanders I have tried by a wide margin. I originally got it because the sanding strokes were so short that it would not scratch the wood when it sanded, which was a problem with the many other mouse sanders I tried. Because the stroked are so short it does not over vibrate your hand when you use it. I have some mouse sanders that have to be killing some nerves in my hands with their crazy vibration intensity. It also gets the job done much faster then other sanders. With 220 grit paper it is so efficient that you don't want to linger too long a max speed in any one spot. Also, their official sandpaper is great: on epoxy floors it doe snot load up like all my other brands of 220 grit sandpaper; I can use one sheet for a long time and there is not dust cast off at all when the vacuum is attached.
