Plantpal 2 Large Decorative Glass Watering Globes, Holiday Watering System that really works. (Green, Glass)

Looks pretty, but have to refill every few days, so not sure if effectiveness if on holiday and leaving plants for a week or two...

I went away for 10 days and came back to find my medium sized palm had soaked up all the water and looked very well, another plant however, only soaked up half the water, clearly only needed that much and also looked very healthy. I'd like to use these all the time now because I tend to over water and the leaves go brown, which didn't happen with these globes, by the way, they do look quite attractive in the pot. Would recommend. One thing to note: sometimes the water drains completely overnight. I thought this was a fault but discovered the plants just needed that much water, because next time, they globes drip watered for a few days. Really worth the money and does a better job than I do by over watering, my plants look really healthy.

I bought these for peace lily that we have in the house.It's easy to setup, and you fill up whenever it empties. There are some warnings on not getting the soil blocking the drainage holes that the water drips out of for the plants. Therefore as long as that is clear the plant will get the water it requires.The added advantage is that they are pretty nice to look at too.

A great idea but they really don't work very well, they either put far too much water in or nothing at all. Best solution is to touch the soil - if it's bone dry it needs water, if you can sense even the smallest amount of damp then don't. Simples. And do not waste your money on a lazy gadget like this. Having said that it might be useful when you go on holiday (if we ever have them again) which is why I gave it 2 stars. They re also much bigger than I though and pretty much the size of a small houseplant themselves. Oh and the first batch received - one was already broken in the box. replaced quickly by the seller though.

Bought these for when I went home for Christmas - and they've worked extremely well! I quite often water my plants too much and this helps stop that. My plants are doing really well and I'm going to carry on using these. Would recommend!

Bought these as I thought they were the same as some my gran had and I’d be able to use them in my patio pots....nope! Indoor use only!That will teach me to read things properly and not just hug because they are pretty! I don’t even have any indoor plants ....doh!

I haven't tried them yet so i cant review- i hope they will work for holidays. although the bulbs are bigger than i expected they look a quality product
