I bought these Yammy Dried Sweet Potato Sticks for a long fieldwork trip, and they were an absolute win. If you’re expecting a crispy snack, read the description and reviews. These are soft and naturally sweet, not crunchy. And honestly? That’s what makes them so good. Out in the field, I need snacks that are portable, quick, and clean, something I can grab without worrying about preservatives or weird ingredients. These check every box. They’re soft enough to eat while moving, they don’t crumble everywhere, and the natural sweetness gave me a great boost of energy when I needed it most. It’s literally one ingredient: sweet potato. Simple, clean, and so much healthier than the usual “energy” snacks (looking at you, trail mix). One funny surprise: everyone I was working with wanted a taste and I did not enjoy sharing them! That’s how you know they’re good. They're a bit on the pricey side, so I won’t be stockpiling them in huge quantities, but they’ve definitely earned a permanent spot in my field snack rotation. If you like naturally sweet, soft snacks, these are fantastic. If you prefer crunchy, this won’t be your thing.

I bought the variety pack. The sweet potato was soft and chewy and not very sweet. My package was a product of China. The other two fruits were crunchy like a chip and a tad sweeter than the sweet potato. My packages both were a product of Vietnam. A bit pricey at about $1.77 per oz for nine 2.5 oz packages.

I love that the only ingredient is sweet potato. The natural sweetness comes through nicely and the texture is pleasantly chewy. This has been a great go-to as a snack. So glad I came across these - I'll be ordering again!

These are very nice little snacks. I enjoy the taste of them, and my little dog likes them as dog treats, too. They're easy to pack for a snack at work, and they taste good. I wish there were more sticks for the price, but as someone who has their own food dehydrator and sweet potatoes and the means to make these myself, they're still worth it to me to just buy these instead. These are great snacks!

Buyer “be aware”. The yam tasted better after refrigeration. The yam clip did not arrive with the product = miss leading advertisement. I will check out other suppliers.

Really loved the mangoes and sweet potatoes, and also enjoyed that they were all different textures. The mangoes are freeze dried, so more like chips, while the sweet potatoes were chewy and a little sticky. I thought I wouldn’t like them at first because it wasn’t what I was expecting, but now I find myself craving them. Healthy, filing, and perfectly portioned — the ultimate snack! I also love that they’re individually packaged. The only reason I have it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I didn’t like the dragonfruit chips. I like dragonfruit normally, but these tasted nutty. I was one of 5 people that tried them — 3 of us thought they tasted weird/not like dragonfruit, and 2 of us really liked them, so just a matter of opinion I guess. Restocking on the other two though!
