Love this hairclip. It is good quality, well made, and pretty - and it doesn't pull on my hair at all even if I leave it in all day, unlike the standard claw-type clip found in local drugstores. I've been wearing it almost every day since it arrived. Expensive, but worth it.

This is very beautiful but no teeth to actually hold the hair in.

This clip is very pretty, just as pictured, but it snags and breaks hairs every time I put it in or take it off. It also does not hold my fine, straight hair, at all. I have a metal version of this clip that glides through my hair like butter and holds it all day long. This plastic version feels flimsy and I am wondering how long before ot breaks. Seems a bit pricey given for what it is.

Do not recommend buying it. Broke the first it went into my hair and I do not have thick hair. Poor product.

This works for casual up sweeps or a French Twist. I bought two, and just hope they last. The tortoise version of the beak clip looks great, but was a huge disappointment when the spring slipped out and my hair came tumbling down while I was out with friends, the second time I wore it.

There are only 5 teeth in the middle of the top side of the clip, but the clamp on the clip was strong enough to hold my hair in a bun. My hair did not snag when I removed the clip. Handmade in France.

This is a beautiful clip! I wanted to love it, but the end is so sharp it is dangerous to even put into your hair. Maybe mine was not filed down properly, but the pointed end was sharp as a scissor. I had to return.
