I really like this teapot, it's sleek and clean looking but super light weight. And it's very nice looking, the right size, good quality and easy to use. Great value for money.

We've only had this tea kettle for a couple of days, but like it a great deal. It is solidly constructed--surprisingly heavy for its size. The design is quite striking with a dramatic shape and nice contrast between the blue ceramic and polished steel.

Love the retro vibe. This teapot is very stylish and looks great in my kitchen and, as a designer, the look of things are very important. It also holds a lot of water, and overall I'm happy and will keep it. There are a few cons, however:-The lid came with a tiny screw to secure the knob, which fell off on the first use. My husband found a longer screw and secured it for me so now its holding nicely. But...come on...use a longer screw please!-The whistle is very wimpy and cannot be heard if you are not near the stove. Sounds like a little kid learning to whistle.-The handle, despite the black coating for the handgrip, gets very hot. I need to use a tea-towel to pour the water out. This is non-negotiable - it's too hot to handle.I am kinda getting used to the cons and will just deal with it because it was not that pricey and it looks cute.

This is one extra special teapot. It is sturdy, beautiful on drive, easy to pour hot water, cool handle, holds good amount of water and I love that it whistles. It is a work of art that will last a long time.

This teapot obviously is simple to use, works well & does the job… but it looks beautiful in the kitchen. We leave it out since it adds to the decor. Seems sturdy & pour is great.

Metal parts can get hot, so use the rubber pincher they send. Otherwise, I love it. Love the look, the whistle and the fairly short time it takes to heat the water.

This, "SUSTEAS Stove Top Whistling Tea Kettle-Surgical Stainless Steel Teakettle Teapot" was recently purchased and is used daily. It is definitely nice looking and works just fine, overall. But there are two small annoyances that exist in the design. The first is that the lid does not fit snuggly. It fits fairly snuggly, but not snug enough to keep steam from pouring out around the lid's perimeter. That is, a steady volume of steam flows upward from the lid consistently. This creates two problems. The first is that it steam-heats the handle. Since the handle extends over the lid, the metal part of the handle where the pouring controls are is steam heated to the point that touching it can create a serious burn. The second problem is that the release of steam leaking around the lid causes a lesser volume of steam to be forced through the whistle-cap on the kettle. This results in a weak, rather muted whistle sound produced from the kettle.To be fair, a hot pad is provided with the kettle. The thought is nice, and diligent use of the hot pad will keep one's hand from getting burned. But the reality is that now there are two components needed to safely operate the tea kettle. And human nature being what it is ... someone is going to get burned.I do like the kettle. It seems well made and is very stylish. But its use involves a bit of inconvenience in continually locating a hot pad, which when used results in a bit of a clumsy and sometimes difficult manipulation of the teapot handle controls. Overall, I would not buy this kettle again because of the named design glitches.

I was looking for a black and antique brass stove top kettle which was induction hob ready. This was exactly what I was hoping for. Its a great kettle with a traditional whistle. The description didn't mention it was antique brass in colour but the photos looked the colour i wanted so I took a risk. When it arrived it was perfect.
