Does the strap from the closure hang long and is there any way to secure it?

All the straps are actually one piece/ one big loop. If you pull one it’ll tighten the other then you can tighten the fasten part. It takes a little playing around with. This should fix the loose part.

Anyone having issues when picking a size? every time i add the women’s cloud2 sports sandal in size 8, description changes to a size 8 in men’s.

Same problem - I click on the women's size 8 in Chacos store but in my cart it says men's size 8... I'm scared to buy in case they send me men's!

Are these good for those that have plantar fasciitis?

This is my 3rd pair of chaco. First one of Zcloud. They have a raised arch and I find support very good and comfortable even for long walk, but I cannot comment on plantar fasciitis as I don't have it personally.

What about half sizes? I wear a size 7.5. Should I size down or up?

I also wear that size and I sized down and they fit purfect.
