Excellent teapot!
I bought this tea kettle to match my kitchen a little better (black/stainless stove, etc), instead of going with my first instinct to buy a flowery "Pioneer Woman" style of kettle... and I am glad I did. Its features are phenomenal... the button to open/close the spout is perfect, I can open it and leave it open, or flick it closed, it doesn't just automatically snap shut like some pots... Also, the whistle is good and LOUD, so I don't forget that I was making a pot of tea and fall asleep or get distracted and let the kettle boil dry, it makes itself heard. The black/silver matches my kitchen well and gives a sophisticated look to the decor, instead of sticking out like a teal sore thumb (which the other kettle would have done). And it holds a LOT of water... A LOT. I love it. Great item, great price. Easy to clean, easy to pour, easy to use, easy on the eye.... A great purchase.

Whistle . . . Tea Time!
I absolutely love my whistling tea kettle. I chose blue and it's beautiful. I use it on a gas stove. No discoloration noted on the blue surface. I've always wanted a kettle and this one was priced right. Of course, I use it for much more than tea~~International coffee, just add hot water, cocoa, or any time I need boiling water, rice, stuffing, ramen. It was a great purchase. I would highly recommend this product.

Makes a lot of noise (not the whistle) heating water it rattles around like there is an air leak.
