Here’s the thing, I feel like I need to give credit where its due. The bad reviews are user error in my opinion because I live in Texas. MOSQUITO CAPITAL at the moment. We are surrounded by A LOT OF TREES. So basically my family and I are just being served to mosquitos on a silver platter.We would not be able to enjoy outdoors without these. Yes it requires a lot of them to be used, but they are worth it to us. My daughter loves being outdoors and I don’t even have to bathe her in bug spray when I put these around her area. I usually do 6 or more around her and they work.

Works great!! We've had mosquitos swarming as soon as we'd step outside. I light a couple of these and no more mosquitoes ! It's nice not to put on sticky bug repellent all the time. A downside could be that they might not last for as long as you need it to. I haven't timed it exactly but a couple of these incense sticks finished burning after about an hour. Which for us has worked well. That being said we're going through them pretty quickly. Will need to order a lot more soon.

I don’t like mosquitoes, but based on bites from previous trips, some may like me. I purchased these to take along for a trip to Mexico. Resort was in a jungle like setting so i wanted to burn these to help enjoy some balcony time. I got a bonus use when I returned home. Having a little dog that likes running in and out of the jouse during the summer leaves room for flies trying to escape the heat as well. These seem to keep them away better than that Zevo we got. They do burn a bit fast for me so that would be the only reason to drop a star.

I'm impressed! I've tried the candles and little machines and none of them have compared to these. I'll go into my backyard and have mosquitos all over then as soon as these are lit they all go away. It even seems to keep other bugs and usually last around an hour. I'm happy with my purchase!

It’s my favorite time of year to sit on my porch but I can’t with the bugs . I turn into a big bug bite . These work to an extent. The smoke and smell is a deterrent but I still need to wear bug spray . I usually put two out on different sections of my porch and it has reduced the amount of mosquitos in that vicinity but doesn’t completely protect you from them. They last less than an hour and even less when it’s windy.The smell is unique but it’s not overbearing like some incense sticks can be. It doesn’t smell like citronella or lemongrass that’s for sure . For the 8 cents it cost for them , it’s worth trying a bag to help shield what you can from the bugs but it could be just the smoke that’s doing most of protecting .I do appreciate that my dogs and toddler can be around it and doesn’t contain any deet but I wouldn’t rely on them to be your true bug protector .

For sure notice a difference when they are burning. They don’t put off a flame but just smoke until they run out of repellant on the stick. Very quick and easy to get going and I just poke them in a potted plant nearby.

We place several these mosquito in-scents throughout our back yard and I must say they work really well once lit. We allow it to burn for a few minutes and give it time to circulate the yard. We notice a tremendous difference. Mosquitos does not come around with the smell and the smell is pleasant. It burns for about an hour. I would definitely recommend this product.
