If you're looking to enhance your physical performance and get great pumps in the gym this is for you. I am 52 years old and after a week or two I noticed great pumps during and after my workout. I take 3 capsules in the morning before my workout, and 3 around dinner time. I usually will take for about 2 months in the summer time when you want to be extra ripped!!! These amino acids help production of nitric oxide, a compound that helps dilate blood vessels, leading to increased blood flow and improved nutrient delivery to working muscles. NOW Sports Nutrition, Arginine & Citrulline has proven to be a valuable addition to my fitness routine. With its ability to enhance endurance, increase nitric oxide production, support muscle growth and recovery.

Gosh, where to even begin when talking about reviewing supplements? OK - so here goes: As a matter of background information, I am a 73-year-old retired Marine Corps veteran who served for 26 years on active duty, and I keep myself in superb physical condition - hitting the gym 4-5 times weekly. As I've gotten older I noticed that my energy levels, muscle growth, and overall weight, have diminished somewhat with time. After trying a variety of supplements, I read up on various L-Arginine products, and this one came highly recommended. As is the case with any new supplement that I try, rather than jump right into the full dosages, I just took 1 capsule of this product daily. I felt if that things worked out, I would take the recommended two capsules per day. After I started taking this Arginine/Citrulline supplement, I noticed that beginning in late afternoon, early evening, my stomach would consistently become upset, accompanied by a feeling of acid reflux. At first, I assumed it was something else, such as the food I had eaten earlier that day, or other factors. So I started eliminating everything I was doing - step by step. Once I stopped the Arginine/Citrulline supplement, my stomach issues went away. The further I read up on things, I came to discover that for quite a few folks, taking L-Arginine upset their stomachs - and this discomfort either manifested itself as an upset, uneasy stomach (especially overnight), or a feeling of acid reflux - or both (like I did). Unfortunately, I'm stuck with two container (bottles) of this stuff, which I've had to stop taking - what a shame because I have no doubt what they are saying about the benefits of this amino-acid combination. But as I've read (and found out), there are some amino acids - L-Arginine being one of the main culprits - where some form of upset or uneasy stomach can be the end result. Just be careful when you order any type of L-Arginine supplement. Your mileage may vary...
