Ibanez PF1512-NT Natural - 12 String Acoustic Guitar

I have been playing guitar since the mid 1960's ( yes okay I'm old but still rockin' ) and this is the third acoustic 12 string I have owned. I spent a couple of hours trawling the net to check out what was available and kept coming back to this Ibanez guitar. The reviews were usually very good but I found the price varied quite a lot, the top price being around £180. I found the one on Amazon advertised by Music Room who are a well established company, to be the cheapest of all the offers. My next thought was 'how good can it be for that price'? Because it was an Ibanez, I decided to take the plunge and order it. It was delivered by UPS within a couple of days. On opening, I was delighted at the quality of the finish and furthermore it was almost in tune (slightly flat) As I tuned it up, I found that the machine heads were smooth to use and the gearing ideal for the gentle tuning of a 12 string, which can be fiddly. Bottom line is that I would recommend The Music Room and this guitar to anyone. Brilliant service and a great instrument. Don't hesitate to buy one.

Box arrived on time, packaged a bit iffy, though upon inspection,no damage,demonstrating Amazon's staffs care in transit. Tuned guitar in (1 string missing sadly) played "whatever" by oasis, sounded awesome, stayed totally in tune, smiles all round 🙂

I really don’t know what to say about this guitar . I heard great things about these guitars for the price. I got it delivered today. The high g string was snapped ( that wasn’t a real problem) I have being playing for years . I tuned the guitar & it sound great with stranded chords But as soon as you got past the 5th fret & using bar chords E to E flat you got a weird over tone that I have never with my other 12s . So Tuned it again . The same again. Not sure what’s going on. I have read reviews on here & there hit & miss. Sadly I’m returning the guitar as it’s A disappointment. I think I got a dud . Shame .

I've had a few twelvers in my time, but this is easily the best one. Built like brick out house, and amazingly the action was amazing out of the box. As you may have noticed, I love this guitar.

Hace solo una semana que la tengo, pero de momento va perfecta. No he puesto 5 estrellas porque creo que debería venir con una correa (aunque fuera mala) y una funda para su transporte, además de unas mínimas instrucciones de afinación y conservación.

I love all musical instruments. I have about 15 guitars and didn’t need to get another one but I couldn’t help myself. I’m too poor to buy very expensive equipment so I do my research and read tons of reviews on anything I am interested in. The most expensive guitars I own are all EVH. (Standard, Special, Frankie, 5150, plus 5150 iconic amp head and a Evh LBX III). The one kind of guitar I never had was a 12 string. I own a thin body Ibanez acoustic/electric and it plays great. So I took a chance on this 12 string. It arrived a day early!! Woo hoo!! I immediately opened it up to give it a real quick try as I was at work where it was delivered so my wife wouldn’t kill me. And I was startled at the feet buzz all over the next. Once I got home and tuned it, and adjusted the truss rod, I was all set. I really couldn’t be happier with this guitar. If you are a beginner or a novice, and are debating on buying this, don’t even give it a second thought. Definitely buy it! It’s well worth the price!

Dopo anni che non suonavo più una chitarra ho deciso azzardando di farmi un regalo acquistando una 12 corde .. che dire sono rimasto affascinato suono e armoniche accellenti ottimo strumento nulla da dire ... Lo consiglio...
