⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Large, Waterproof Blanket That Works Well for Giant Breeds This waterproof dog blanket is used daily on our king-size bed with a 150-pound Great Dane, so it gets plenty of real-world testing. Size was my biggest concern, and this blanket fully covers the bed without leaving corners exposed, which is hard to find for oversized dogs. The waterproof layer has been effective at protecting the mattress from drool, damp fur, and dirty paws. At the same time, the fabric is soft and flexible, not stiff or noisy, which helps it stay comfortable for long periods of use. Our dog lays on it for hours without trying to move or bunch it up. Durability has been solid so far. Even with a large dog shifting positions frequently, the stitching and material have held up with no tearing or thinning. It also stays in place better than expected and doesn’t slide excessively during the night. Cleaning has been straightforward. The blanket washes well in a standard machine and dries without shrinking or losing its waterproof function. After multiple washes, it still performs the same as when we first started using it. I love these waterproof dog blankets. I started with a smaller one. My dog likes to move around on the bed, so I bought the king size. It is very soft, medium weight. I believe any dog smell will stay on this spread and not go through to my sheets. I also tested a little warter and it stays on top. I have not tried cleaning, so i can't testify to it holding up there. My dog loved it from the very beginning. I also bought king size blankets for my kids. When opened the dachshunds rolled and rolled on the soft material. As for the value, i believe the $60ish is well worth the quality. They seem like the durability is a bit higher than normal comforters. No shedding. I recommend these blankets if your dog likes to sleep with you.

I looked at several waterproof dog blankets but wasn't tempted by any of them. And then I came across this one! The sofa I wanted to protect is where we spend most of our leisure time, including our elderly and ailing female hound. So I was looking for something that would protect the sofa from any incontinence events and be snag resistant to her nails (✅), be soft and comfy for her (✅), but also elegant with a gorgeous color and fit into the decor of the room without bringing attention to what it actually was there for (✅)! And to boot, the price was right for the quality of the product(✅). So I bought two. This way while one is in the wash, I can put down the other one to keep the sofa protected. Needless to say, I highly recommend this product to anyone who finds themselves in my circumstances, or just wants a soft, beautiful, and washable pet (or people!) blanket to protect their bed, sofa or pet bed from accidents. Blanket arrived timely. No strange smells, pups love it. It is soft and thick and easy to wash. I would recommend this dog blanket for wintertime.

We got the 50 x60 Grey, and love it. Pretty pattern, and it's waterproof. We use it on the bed, so the dog sleeps on it, she Iikes it, and we feel it protects our sheets just a tad. One time our dog had to throw up, poor thing - but I sure was happy this blanket was there to catch her vomit. That was an easy clean-up. We also bring the blanket with us when we travel, use it in hotels, or when we stay with friends, to give them a sense of protection for their beds. Washes easily, and dries easily, and stays in the same shape.

I am fostering 2 senior dogs who are incontinent and needed something waterproof to cover their dog beds. I usually use paw.com blankets, but wanted something less fuzzy. They're bigger beds, so I needed something bigger than a throw size. This twin size blanket was perfect. I can wrap the bed with the blanket like a package so if they dig at it, it won't just pull back. I bought several of these because of how often they have accidents. These are in constant laundry rotation. Some are more water resistant than others. Some of them allowed liquid to soak through after only a few washes and others held up through many washes before they started becoming more leaky. (I only use mild detergent and no bleach.) If the dogs have a small accident, the blanket may keep it off the bed underneath, but if it's a big mess (lots of liquid) it will soak through. I added a washable pee pad between the blanket and bed to catch any leaks and have been able to keep the beds underneath pee free. Despite the lack of being waterproof, I still like the blankets for their size and softness for the dogs. I also bought a full size one for the couch, but it takes forever to dry so don't use it as much as I do the twin sized ones. If you just want to protect something from muddy paws or light accidents, you'll probably be happy with these. If you have a dog that creates a lot of liquid, these won't guarantee whatever they're covering won't get soiled.

High-quality, heavy blanket that protects cushions from spills, dog accidents, etc. One minor criticism that doesn't lower my rating, but worth knowing for context: it takes forever to dry after washing. The material holds tons of water—I gave it three cycles in the dryer and still had to hang-dry it for hours. It's great as a nice-looking, cozy protective layer, but if you're in a puppy phase with semi-frequent accidents, I wouldn't choose this for something you want to throw in the laundry quickly.
