V101G1/W: Great wall arm!
I wasn't sure that the table I currently use as a work desk was suitable for use with the more common desk-mounted arms, and since I have a concrete wall and am skilled with tools, I decided that a wall mount would be a better choice for me. I did research the available options form several brands. I found that while there were several cheaper products, many of them looked the same, and were of unknown , unsupported brands, and had not enough users opinions on the web. There were some with at least a web site, but that didn't even have installation instructions. All of them were discarded from my choices. Some competing products were maybe good enough, but the installation process was too complicated or even risky for my monitors and would requiere at least two people to do. FInally, most of them are black, with a bulky unsightly appearance. In the end, I choosed this Vivo product which checked the right boxes: Known supported brand, with good comments on web forums. The web site is easy to navigate, provides all types of information, specifications, manuals, photos and videos. Installation to the wall was effortless, mounting the monitor to the arm so well thought and easy that me alone could do it without any help. The arm is white and sleek so is not a sore to the eyes (which I love). And while the price is not the lowest, is much better than the top of the line offerings, and well worth it in my opinion. All the load bearing pieces are metal and sturdy, with a great white paint finish. Some other ornamental pieces (like the cable organizers) are white plastic. The product came with real, printed instructions, with both clear text and graphics (Not the type with only images that are supposed to be understandable to anyone in any language, and that usually are confusing and useless). The web site also has those instructions as well as instructional videos, which is very handy. I actually bought two arms, to have my work laptop in the middle and two monitors on each side. Strangely enough, one arm came with instructions dated August 31 2023, while the second came with instructions dated August 21 2024. The older ones are missing a very important step regarding the Tilt Joint that could damage some monitors, so be sure to use the latest instructions. They can also be downloaded from Vivo web site. Be sure to use the latest ones! Even though the instructions were clear on HOW to mount the arm, there were no suggestions on WHERE to mount it. I do know that there are many use cases that might make impossible to have just a single document to cover them all. But I believe some common uses would be easy to document. I had to fiddle with the un-mounted arm for several minutes until I settled on a height and offset for the mounting base. Fortunately it worked! (There is a problem with the lack of instructions of most of the arms I researched, excpept for the leading one which do provide some ergonomic suggestions. I suggest you check those out as an aid for the installation of this arm). So far the product is performing as intended, but it's been only a few days. If anything arises I will update this review.

Perfect just what I wanted and I want another!
I wanted it to hang a gaming screen that I’m using as a TV monitor. It works great, very easy install and moves like a dream. I’m buying one for my large computer monitor so I can have the same flexibility. I recommend it you like things off your surfaces and want something that is sturdy and flexible.

Good, but not user friendly
Pretty good wall arm mount. Adjusting the angles are a bit of a pain, but once you get that sorted out, it’s a great mount. I mounted my AW3423DWF ultrawide monitor on it, and it works perfectly.

Exact need for 49" curved monitor
What a massive improvement to my desk setup. I installed it myself on my wall (studs) and the instructions were very easy to follow. I did end up drilling holes a foot higher than intended (I realized after fully setting it up with my monitor) and disassembled, redrilled holes and reinstalled with ease. This showed that when I want to paint my walls or set up shelves, taking off my monitor will be a breeze. It operates really smoothly and holds up my big 49" curved monitor with ease. Highly recommend!

Great monitor arm!
I am pretty impressed with VIVO for this one. I've used several different models of monitor arm from VIVO in the past and while they all worked fine, I wasn't able to adjust any of them toollessly, until now. This is a feature I would expect from a brand like Ergotron so it was a nice surprise. The movement of the arm when adjusting my monitor is nice and smooth too. The arm also does a great job holding up my G9. It's definitely able to handle the weight of a typical 32:9 monitor. Also, it seems VIVO has refined their cable management features. The video and power cable is completely hidden inside the arm. Fixing them to the arm was also a breeze.

Excellent and sturdy monitor arm
Got this for my Samsung G9 49 inch beast of a monitor and the arm didn’t miss a beat. It’s sturdy, ergonomic and feels like it cost three times the amount I paid for it. Keep in mind it doesn’t come with the appropriate adapter for curved monitors so you will have to buy it separately if you don’t have one that came with the monitor. Mount it lower than you think, you can always use the arm to bring the monitor higher but it has a lower limit

Holds a G9 OLED perfectly. Test installation spot before you commit to drilling.
Holds G9 OLED super well. Wish it came with a handle to help move the monitor without touching it. An add on would be nice. Solid product and easy to install. I would recommend installing it just above your desk height with a few inch offset to the side. Definitely install in studs.

False Tilt Numbers, not +/- 45 and doesn't hold a 23lb! monitor without tilt sag.
Why lie about your basic specs! I got this arm specifically because of +/-45 tilt, but that's not the real numbers, not even close. +53 / -27 those are the actual tilt numbers, they even only add up to 80 total degrees of tilt, not the 90 advertised. Add in the fact that you have to tightening down the tilt so much to stop it from sagging forward, that it locks the screen in place, completely negating the spring assisted tilt adjustment. I have to get the allen wrench out every time I want to adjust the tilt, which is fairly often for me. Viewing angle with glasses and glare reasons. I am using a 49" super ultra wide but it only weights 23lbs, lighter than a lot of other 49" screens, and is specifically list as compatible with this stand. For the price it would be a perfectly fine stand IF! they didn't lie all over the listing and misrepresent the product. It may not have worked for my case but then I would know what I was getting, and not have to go through the trouble of boxing this back up and returning it. The actual gas spring assist of the arm height is the only thing that works as shown, but that could be because my screen weights 52% the rated strength of the arm. Seeing as they lied about the tilt numbers, I have seriously doubt it would hold even close to the full weight they suggest. I would also strongly suggest adding a runner board on the wall to attach the wall plate too(if its standard US dry wall and stud house construction), as I don't trust their mounting plate to hold that much weight at full extension in a single stud, especially if you are off center of the stud at all with your screws. Just stop lying in your product listings! How hard is that?
