Review: An engaging story with wonderful illustrations throughout - Horton is a firm favourite in our household and I am sure it will be for some time to come. The animated movie is a little scary for my son due to the eagle, but in the book he is a lot 'friendlier' looking. This is a really good tale and introduces many ideas such as loyalty, self belief, caring for others and going against popular opinion. The rhyming style of Dr Seuss is especially effective in this book, I certainly enjoy reading it out loud.

Ich liebe alle Bücher von Dr Suess! Die Geschichte von Horton kannten meine Kinder nur aus dem Film und waren begeistert als ich das Buch vorgelesen habe. Die Geschichte ist nach wie vor aktuell. Man muss immer daran denken - a person's a person no matter how small. Die Bilder sind schön. Der Text ist einfach genug auch für jüngere Leser mit Englischkenntnisse.

Comprato per mio figlio di 4 anni che ama i libri del Dr Seuss. “Horton hears a who” insegna, tramite una storia deliziosa e coinvolgente, che “una persona è una persona, non importa quanto piccola sia” Tutti i bambini dovrebbero avere questo libro.

Avant le film "Horton" (2008), il y avait ce livre génial. Un des rares livres de Dr Seuss qui ressemble à une "aventure". On l'a découvert sur le tard et il est rapidement devenu un de nos favoris.
