Seriously? Are we pulling the artificial scarcity move, Mattel? Anytime you hear a multi-billion dollar corporation doing dumb moves that upset fans in the name of environmentalism, you know you done goofed. You know what I am talking about. I am looking at you Hasbro and your windowless packages for upcoming figures.But seriously Mattel usually has this "goofy, repulsive, comical, exaggerate" esthetic. When it comes to 90% of their toys. Oversized feet, weird spikes that end up looking like fins, goofy gumdrop teeth, lack of paint, general QC issues. But when Mattel decides to throttle the horrible Art style and focus on making something look neat, they will make a super limited quantity, so scalpers can steal off she shelves to sell at an ridiculous price.I cannot find any of the smaller, Dino Trackers, Danger packs anywhere. I just found Austoraptor at my local Bestbuy and even then, they have a "color may vary" which is a horrible gamble if you wanna order online. Why can't I get the redesigned Herrerasaurus? Edaphosaurus (which just looks like a rad Dimetrodon if anything). Nothosaurus?! Nothosaurus!! Where? Can't find them, anywhere for MSRP. These toys are supposed to be for 8-12 dollars! Thats it. I cannot really express my frustration with this as a collector.Honestly Amazon, it would be great to try to mitigate scalpers to deter them, but Ig that would violate "supply and demand" or capitalism.
