For context, I tried to transfer 90 GB of data and it took 1 minute and 28 minutes on a macbook pro m4. Very beneficial as a 2nd storage, especially if you dont want to get ripped by apple for storage (when buying a new macbook) or u already bought a very low storage macbook (that cant and wont be upgraded anymore). It has an aluminium build with rubber surface (but its not very water resistant so be careful).

It’s a small ssd very handy when travelling

I purchased a Crucial 4TB SSD, and it completely failed within just one year. I’ve lost all my important documents and precious photos, and despite several attempts, I still haven’t been able to recover any data. This was extremely disappointing, especially from a reputed brand like Crucial. I chose this SSD only because it was around 100 AED cheaper than the SanDisk model — a decision I deeply regret now. Please don’t make the same mistake I did; saving a small amount upfront is not worth the risk of losing your valuable data. I also tried reaching out to Crucial customer care, but since I am currently outside the UAE, I received no proper response or support. I strongly urge Crucial’s management to improve their global customer service and ensure that loyal customers are not left helpless in such situations.

The drive works alright and all but after doing some research after it's way better and cheaper to get a NVME SSD and a housing. They are way faster, cheaper and less prone to connector damage. What that means is if the type c port on this drive gets damaged then the whole drive gets bricked because the connector is soldered on to it. But an nvme using a housing is detachable from the connector so you would simply replace the housing. Also I can't stress enough that NVMEs are way cheaper

Très bon disque dur, jamais eu de souci le temps de mon utilisation. Les débits sont corrects et la petit led est très pratique pour savoir que le disque est en fonction. Jamais déçu des produits Crucial, surtout que celui-ci est vraiment compact et léger. Et il chauffe moins que les Crucial X6 avec leur coques en métal.

Trés bon produit, attention de le brancher avec un cable USB-3.
