I’m 5’3”, 150lbs and bought a Large. It fits perfectly. The fabric and construction is high quality. And it’s not too heavy - which was my concern since Renaissance Faires are usually held during summer, but I don’t feel like I’ll get too hot in this. AND IT HAS POCKETS!!! Love me some pockets on dresses, which makes it both functional and beautiful!

I bought this to wear over a dress bought from the same seller for Renaissance Festival. I have wanted to dress up for YEARS but I've never found the right outfit. This was the most comfortable and flattering outfit combination I have ever worn. AND IT HAS POCKETS!! Like real deep pockets. I kept forgetting my phone was even in them because they were so secure. I have gained a lot of weight since becoming a mom, and I've never had much self esteem. The only other time I have felt this good about the way I looked was at my wedding. Wearing this as an outer layer made my whole silhouette look amazing! Not to mention I was able to roll around in the dirt with my kid, walk around everywhere and sit on the grass, all while feeling comfortable, and it never got dirty! I have not been given anything to write this review. It was just that amazing! The material is soft, durable, and seemed well made I would wear this as an everyday outfit if I could. 10/10 would recommend and would buy again

Very well made. I ordered the XXL based on the size chart and it fit well, was even perhaps a bit large. I am 44" bust and and 39.5" waist. Because the overdress was made with quality, You are able to tighten the bodice appropriately and have a nice waist. It was long enough from shoulder to waist to sit on my natural waist, which is a nice change as most items are about 1" too short on me.

I loved the material and fit of this piece, but unfortunately the edges around my chest don’t lay flat the way they’re supposed to. For it to fit right I’d need to compromise the fit around my waist and ribs. Sadly I will be returning even though I love it. True to color. It has a side zipper which makes it very easy to get in and out without needed to lace or unlace the piece. Pockets are a great size as well

The weight of the fabric is on the lighter side but can still keep heat. Zipper gets caught up crossing the seam but it will still zip over if there's not too much tension in the fabric. Pockets are a decent size but do not fit a whole phone. I'm high-30s H, and while the under-bust folds don't stay down well (it can be tucked in or held down with pins), it still gives me plenty of room with and without a bra. The vest definitely compliments and accentuates not only the bust but also the figure, WHILE giving plenty of coverage in a short dress/skirt. Looks GREAT as a Ren fit, layered over jeans and a t-shirt, or layer over other dresses! Will definitely be getting more colors of this and more products from this brand (& the way it flows in the wind/downstairs is amaaazzinngg). I would consider this money well spent, this is a very versatile piece for your closet! No noticeable/unpleasant smells upon opening. Hardware is as expected.

The perfect cut & beautiful color, plus a size chart that actually worked for a good fit! The rayon fabric is soft and lightweight making it ideal for warm weather festivals, unlike most costumes. This dress works for rennies, pirates as well as Celtic fest since it is loosely based on historic "Irish dress". The in-seam pockets are nice & deep, and a rare treat to find in cosplay. Well made and an excellent value.

When I received this it was a bit wrinkled due to packaging. I gently steamed it and it was gorgeous! It has the corset style closure the material doesn't have a lot of stretch though it is very comfortable! It is an opaque fabric, i wore it over another dress I was able to breathe and didn't get too hot.

I previously gave this a 4 star review as I like the idea of the cover over a nice outfit with a tail/ coverage on the bottom. The nice flow to this as well as the feel of the actual garment is worth 4 stars. Where you're all lacking your additional star is the color. I have ordered this in Wine, Indigo (teal), purple & black I believe & the only colors that looks as advertised is the Indigo/ Teal color as well as the Black. I will have to dye the purple & wine to get them to look less like depression colors! I understand the dye can't be cheap with inflation & all that because even I understand that things have gone up, but it's why I won't order the yellow one (however you have that color labelled I can't remember right now but it's yellow) because it'll be more of a purchase for me having to wait for you to have my size & then have to buy dye to get it to the advertised color. You're better off just making one white or ivory toned & then selling a dye pack in whatever color the consumer wants so we can dye it ourselves! These colors are depressing even for fall/ Autumn tones (when seasons change & people naturally wear more darker set tones)! Sell the color you advertise, or you will lose more stars with me, especially since I have to wait for you to have a sale on this because 45.00 for this when the color is wrong is a waste of money! Especially when I have to fix 2 or the 4 colors I've ordered with dye packs to hope it comes out looking how it's advertised on this website! If I need the grey or yellow one I will order; however, I will be buying dye packs when I get paid because you failed at 2 out of 4 colors already! Buyers beware: WINE & PURPLE ARE DARKER & MORE DEPRESSING THAN ADVERTISED! BUY A DYE PACK!
