Amazing machine, perfect results on espresso and foam, easy to operate but do read instructions.
This Espresso maker rocks! When you clean the espresso basket there is a piece that flips up to hold it in place and protect your fingers from being burned. I noticed someone said they had an issue and suspect that was only due to this flap being raised, if it is you would not be able to properly seat the basket. Creates excellent espresso and using switch to steam milk works perfect to as well for vending remaining steam before cleaning basket. Everything works flawless, it may not be the fanciest machine out there but the value is absolutely outstanding for price. I had no problems creating cappuccinos with this with perfect foam using a variety of milks including higher protein lactose free milk. Creamy foam rich espresso, incredible coffee shop like experience. Basically pays for itself in ten uses and you can make your own delicious coffee treats exactly like you want. I like to use sugar free vanilla bean, pistachio, and cinnamon flavored syrups as well when I am feeling like sweet but a plain cappuccino is also superb. Especially if having with a pastry!

Good Value Espresso Maker for Beginners
I’ve been using this Mr. Coffee espresso machine and it’s a great choice if you’re just starting out. It’s easy to use, budget-friendly, and makes decent espresso drinks without much effort. The automatic milk frothing feature is very convenient for lattes and cappuccinos. While it’s not the same as a high-end machine, it does the job well for everyday coffee at home. Great value for the price!

Dangerous Steam Explosion
I’ve owned 3 other espresso makers from the same manufacturer over the years. This new update seemed less durable upon opening. I cleaned the unit with water. Attempted to make the first espresso but the unit burst like a pressure cooker. A huge amount of steamed burst and the attachment was blown across the kitchen.

Coffee House Drinks at Home - Simple, Affordable, and Delicious
I purchased this machine to cute down on my daily coffeehosue runs, and its already paid for itself! I can now recreate my favorite Caribou drinks at home - easier, with fewer calories, and best of all, in my pajamas. The machine is straightforward to use and consistenly cres a rich, delicious cup of coffee. the included frotheing pitcher makes it easy to whip up cappuccino, lattes, and mochas that rival my local cafe. The only drawback is that is runs on the louder side, so its best to use once everyone is awake. That said, for the price point and performance, this espresso maker is a fantastic value. Perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy cafe-style drinks at home without breaking the bank.

Works well.
Love it, works well. Only issue is that I forget to turn it off after making coffee and then letting it vent out remaining water. So I guess I'm faulty, rather than the coffee maker. ;)

It exploded
The morning was quiet, save for the bright chirping of birds outside my window. This espresso machine, a trusted relic of my countless hurried mornings for the past 7 months, stood proudly on the counter, its chrome surface gleaming under the dim lights. It had brewed hundreds of espressos, and endured endless cycles of heat and pressure—but today, something was different.Deep within its metallic core, an unseen war was raging. Pressure, relentless and insidious, built up inside, coiling like a beast waiting to strike. I was oblivious to the impending catastrophe and packed the portafilter with freshly ground espresso, twisting it into place with the ease of habit. Then, in a heartbeat, chaos erupted. With a thunderous crack, the portafilter was wrenched free, rocketing across the room in a blur of steel and fury. A plume of scalding steam exploded from the machine’s belly, filling the air with the acrid scent of burnt coffee. Espresso grounds burst forth like shrapnel, coating the counters and the walls. A ceramic cup shattered as the force sent it tumbling to the ground, its contents splattering like blood across the tiles.I staggered back, hands raised against the sudden storm of heat and debris. And then, silence. The machine sputtered, wheezed, and gave one last exhausted hiss before slumping into stillness. The espresso machine had met its end—only 7 months after purchasing—not with a slow decline, but with a violent, caffeinated explosion that no one would soon forget.

A little slow, but such a great value and (most importantly) fantastic cup of coffee!!
I have a very old version of a different brand that I use almost daily. I have friends that "drop by" for coffee now. I have gifted a couple of this model. They have been received well and I have gotten great reviews from those. Many Affagoto have been made using these by myself and the ones I gifted. Fully recommend!!
