The thermometer is exactly as described by the vendor. As well as the battery already installed it came with a spare, which I thought was very thoughtful. It works perfectly immediately after attached to the aquarium. I highly recommend the product!

i was very disappointed that it did not have an audible alarm and left a 3-star review. but i talked to Hygge and they said they are going to look into adding one to the next model of Digital Aquarium Thermometers. Their taking customer's ideas into account and friendliness in chat has made me want to give them a slightly better review. i look forward to the new device if or when it comes out. they seem to be a good company worth buying from.

Accurate, easy to read, battery accessible easily, really not much to not like about it. IF mounted 3 or 4 inchs below waterline it is very accurate does not seem to be influenced by room temp. So I would recommend it as I am pleased with it. I have a 20 gallon planted aquarium I mounted it on side of tankto not obstruct the view but is very easy to glance at from to time to time just to make sure heater is working and set properly.

It's see-through so great mounted to the aquarium. I bought 1 to try and put it on my desk. I like it so much I keep it on my desk and bought a second one for the aquarium. I highly recommend this and all hygger products.

I like the design, the form factor, but unfortunately it's failing at its primary function. Purchased this hoping to eliminate my in-water thermometers, but it seems that this lack the ability to accurately measure the temperature. Could be due to glass thickness (110 gallon tank) or maybe I just got a dud. At any given point it can be as much as 3-4 degrees off from the actual temperature

Works great

Surprisingly accurate. Tested against my other thermometers and was spot on. It is affected if the temperature is really low in the room. The wife keeps it pretty cold in the house and the temperature will be off by 1.5 to 2 degrees until the room heats up.

Hygger has become my favorite aquarium brand surpassing marineland and Fluval when it comes to innovation. The thermometer is accurate and is my main source to keep an eye on all my aquariums
