Q: Does this item now come with the updated bracket with the improved pivot?

Yes, these handheld shower heads come with the updated holder bracket. All units in stock since January 2018 have come equipped with the improved pivot, providing 360 degree rotation and 23 degrees of adjustment without the holder drooping or sagging. They can hold up to 6kgs without drooping - which is many times more weight than you would ever need supported on the shower head holder.

Q: Is the shower head metal?

Yes, the handheld shower head is metal — made from 304 stainless steel with silicone spray nozzles. Since 2020, all joints are double laser welded to bond the head to the handle for a lifetime. In addition, the shower head holder is solid brass and the hose is 304 stainless steel with brass connectors. All components undergo our industrial grade finishing process — which passes the 24-hour acid salt spray test — exceeding cUPC standards.

Q: Where is the flow restrictor located?

The flow restrictor is located behind the screened washer inside of the shower head holder. The 2.5 GPM flow regulator is green and the 1.75 GPM flow regulator is blue. We use the highest-quality flow regulators from Neoperl which provide the same level of water flow whether you have low or even high household water pressure.

Since January 2022, all of our handheld shower heads feature our proprietary pressurized nozzles to boost your pressure. It is approximately a 3x increase in pressure from our previous nozzles. We use the highest-quality flow regulators from Neoperl which provide the same level of water flow whether you have low or even high household water pressure. The flow restrictor is located behind the screened washer inside of the shower head holder. The 2.5 GPM flow regulator is green and the 1.75 GPM flow regulator is blue. Leak is a four-letter word at HammerHead Showers! To prevent any leaks, we use brass and 304 stainless steel connections that never cross thread and use the American standard 1/2" NPT and NPS thread sizes to get an extra tight seal. We even include compression washers and thread seal tape.
