Really love these organic Pinto Beans
Excellent! I was getting a different brand previously, and these have much more life force, for sprouting, much more color, texture and flavor when pressure cooked.

Great quality
Fast shipping to my door. Packaging in good condition, and beans are a nice color. It's hard finding organic dry beans where I live, so I appreciate that I could order these.

Top quality beans and great flavor.
Some of the better pintos out there, and a bag of 15 or 20 pounds makes sure you have some in the pantry for whatever you need. Don't buy into canned goods hype. These are super duper easy to make, and all you need to do is wash and soak them for a bit. You can even just put them into soup that is decently hot and let it simmer for a length of time. Much better than getting canned chemicals in your food. Dried is the way to go. Any good prepper should have a couple bags of beans around. So should you.

Good beans. Reasonable price.
The beans are fine. Very clean. Tasty. Amazon did not package them properly, so the bag of beans had broken through the poorly taped box, which had no packing material in it. This delayed delivery while the Post Office did additional poor quality taping. Also, the outside of the bean bag was wet and dirty. Be sure to insist on proper shipping materials and procedures.

Excellent flavor and texture
Excellent flavor and texture but comparatively speaking a bit pricey.

Good value for organic beans
I love that these pinto beans are organic and non-gmo. I always buy larger bags (better value) and then transfer to jars to keep in the cooler basement. We ferment them for three days (water and salt) and they cook to soft enough in 30 minutes or so. The fermenting improves texture and flavor as well as digestibility.

Fresh, Bright, Creamy beans
Love these beans! They boil up real nice and bright in color demonstrating that they are always fresh. I always thought I was doing something wrong in boiling my beans when they would come out dark and even the water would be darker. Then I started using these, and I always got a nice creamy, bright bean. Needless to say, I stopped buying beans from the grocery store.

Continue purchasing!
Growing up eating pinto beans Frequently coming from a Hispanic family, I feel I’m pretty qualified to make a review on these beams. I love that they don’t take forever to cook like the regular beans from the local market, I wonder how long they’ve been sitting on the shelves! These cook faster and they taste fresher and I feel better feeding them to my family because there are also organic. This is a win-win for me . I Will continue to purchase them don’t change whatever you’re doing.!!!

I recently purchased 15 lbs of pinto beans from FOOD to LIVE and I have to say, I'm extremely impressed. Despite having to pay a high shipping fee, I was determined to get my hands on these beans because they're just that good. The supplier was kind enough to offer me a reduced price, but unfortunately, they couldn't do anything about the shipping fee. However, once I received the beans, I knew that it was worth every penny. They were dust-free, organic, and came well-packaged with no small stones or other debris. I was also thrilled to see that the beans were of high quality and cooked perfectly. I've made everything from soups to salads with these beans, and they've all turned out amazing. I can confidently say that these are some of the best pinto beans I've ever tasted, and I appreciate the care and attention that went into producing them. Although the shipping fee was high from the U.S.A. I declined the supplier's offer to have the beans cost reduced as it was my mistake in not seeing the full price and because they are just too good to let go. If you're looking for high-quality, organic pinto beans, I highly recommend giving these a try. Thank you to the supplier for providing such a great product and excellent customer service throughout the process.

I soaked these beans for 8-10 hours in water. I changed the water a couple times. Then I cooked them in fresh, plain water, in an instant pot pressure cooker on high pressure for 2.5 hours. When finished, some of the beans were reasonably soft (maybe 1/4 of them or less), the rest were still...not soft, and the skins were not soft. I put them back in for another 1.5 hours, and they came out barely any better. I made re-fried beans with them. When finished eating them is very unpleasant. The skins are tough, and chewy, they get stuck around your gums, etc. They should be disintegrating by now, shouldn't they!? It's been 4 hours of pressure cooking, and then 30 mins of stove top cooking. I added some water to them, the next day, in the same pan, and tried to cook them some more, another hour of cooking. *No difference* at all. Tough, unpalatable skins and even some of the beans themselves are not soft enough. Edit: I forgot to add, that while I was portioning up the beans for vacuum sealing, I noticed some (not a visibly large amount, but enough to notice some while pouring into bags and jars) were shriveled with white, dry/dusty looking mold, or kinda black. Now that I right this out, my conclusion would be that these beans are junk. They're no better than bulk barn beans that've been sitting in an open barrel for years. I want my money back. Now I have to eat 15 pounds of these leather skinned beans. What a waste.
