I got these for an upcoming family reunion, I believe they are going to work out great. More sturdy than typical paper plates and they won't melt or crack like sytrofoam. Plus they are "eco-friendly", so that's a plus. I'm always a little skeptical of anything claiming to be "compostable", as most home composters won't break down a lot of things (largely due to not being big enough to generate enough heat), so I'm not going to be tossing these in my compost tumbler, but at least I know archeologists won't be digging them up in several hundred years like plastics and styrofoam!

I always purchase disposable bowls and plates to minimize weeknight dishwashing. I usually purchase paper plates and bowls at the local supermarket but I saw these bowls were available on Amazon and decided to try it out. I am pleasantly surprised by how well these bowls hold up in the microwave, fridge, food, and liquids. Styrofoam bowls break down easily in the microwave or are flimsy if you fill them with too much weight. The same can be said with thinner paper bowls that lose their absorbency with meats or frozen treats. I feel a sense of pride that these paper bowls are eco-friendly because they are made from sugar cane byproducts. Also, unlike styrofoam, these bowls will not leave toxic fumes in the air or your food. The only negative is the paper bowls are for one-time use and can be a bit expensive for daily use. However, it would be a great addition to gatherings and other events. Overall, this product has exceeded my expectations and is one of the best disposable paper bowls I have ever owned in my household.

I always misjudge how big a 12oz bowl is, so they were smaller than I expected. But they are just as durable as regular paper bowls.

These bowls are nice and sturdy and well designed for microvave use, as well as to put in in the fridge in case you have a party and need to give away for left overs. They are smaller than I anticipated and don't stick to plastic wrap for storage. But they are nice to hold and cold food items

The 12 oz. size is so versatile and the strength of the material is so good that I keep these bowls around for everything from salad to ice cream. Haven't tried them for refrigerator storage, but they do well in the microwave. Highly recommend!

These are great sturdy bowls. They aren't the cheapest around, but can you put a price on the earth's well being? They hold up really well and are a normal bowl size. They have a tendency to stick together, so you may have to pry them apart a bit. I would buy these again, but I hope the price drops a bit.

These bowls are well made and very sturdy. We have used them for many different food items with no issues. The bowls hold up well when microwaving soup or holding melting ice cream. The bowls are of excellent quality but are more expensive than I would pay at around $18 for 125 disposable bowls. However, if there is a reduction in price or a coupon, I would not hesitate to buy these bowls!

My wife cooks....a lot. With that being said, she hates to do dishes, so she loved these bowls! They worked perfect for everything from soups to salads.
