One of the best bariatric seats!
I’m a 5’4 woman, 370 lbs, and dealing with a low back injury from a car accident. Standing longer than 10 minutes starts to cause pain in my low back, where it feels like I could collapse after 20 minutes. Thus, I’ve only been able to take quick showers and then rest afterwards until I get strength back.Being heavy, I was weary of many shower seats on Amazon and the weight limit. This one said 450 lbs, so I tried it. I’m so glad I did!I absolutely feel confident sitting and putting my full weight on the seat. The bracing doesn’t wobble in any direction and the feet are sturdy. The seat itself is wide and deep enough to be comfortable and not feel like balancing. It’s lightweight and easy to readjust in the shower while showering. I had it set to the tallest extension, which was even too tall for my liking. The second tallest setting is just right, and I absolutely do not feel like I’m squatting. The instructions were pretty simple to follow, with pictures and language. I would say they could improve on how they label parts in the instructions because the cross-brace in the center is 2 pieces made slightly differently, so they can intersect and unfold within each other. You also do need a philips screwdriver for one screw.I can finally take a long shower again!

That it holds up and holds my weight
This one actually held me and i felt safe on it. Alot of these chairs claim to hold 300 to 550 lbs. And they don't. My weight iui is 275lbs and the chair would start to lein more to one side. This chair has held up for a little over a year and still doing good I just it was a little higher up. I fell it's to low to ground

The best gift, that I’ve been told
I purchase it to help a friend who is a 5’7” tall and weighs 215. Every time cleaning the kitty litter my friend would be on the floor to do so. I would cringe at the site, but I was explained by my friend that their knees would hurt when standing to long of a period. (Mind you there is 3 jumbo kitty litter boxes). So I purchased this seat and now my friend uses it all the time and almost for anything that requires to stand a long period of time. Very sturdy, comfortable and stylish if I might add. So worth it.

Substantial
This bath stool fits well in my small molded shower stall and seems to work fine. The rubber tips at the bottom keep it from slipping and it is very supportive. Assembling it wasn't quite as easy nor fast as I'd hoped -- the pieces just didn't fit together as well as the photographs seemed to indicate. I'd actually recommend NOT following the instructions and getting the legs assembled before attaching to the seat. Otherwise, the legs don't seem to match up correctly. But it was pretty intuitive and I felt proud of myself when I was done. For the price, it seems to be well-made and substantial. (And I have a couple of pieces left over -- BONUS!!)

Solid and sturdy... if you can assemble it
Very stable and useful while I was recovering from a foot injury. I am keeping it in the shower for now tho because it makes shaving your legs so much easier! At any rate, it’s stable, never tips like I read some other models could. The assembly directions however... left a lot to be desired. Very confusing. Luckily I have a resourceful boyfriend, but plan to figure some of it out yourself. Solid product, annoying directions.

heavy duty secure chair
I'm 6'4" and 72 years and this not only fit me (it's adjustable for seat height) but is very sturdy and fit in my shower perfectly. Highly recommended. Assembly instructions could be better but not too difficult to put together.

So far it is exactly what I need
I have been in severe sciatic nerve pain for months now and was recently diagnosed with a herniated disc. The pain had gotten so bad and so frequent that it was becoming dangerous to shower due to the fear of falling (when the pain is severe, my leg can go out from under me). This stool has made it to where I can take my time in the shower without fear of falling. It appears to be sturdy (I am 6', 280lbs), and I do not have a fear of it collapsing underneath me.
