I don't see "rope" mentioned on Amazon listing. It's an adjustable strap that can go across your waist or slung over your shoulder and front. It's amazing and has several compartments and zippered openings for larger items and smaller ID or charge cards. Made of nylon. Strong & durable. And the price is unbelievable.
