In Oregon cervid urine cannot be used now to lure in deer. I tried the synthetic type and I didn't find that it attracted bucks very well

It certainly calls them in and makes them search for the source. Don't over do it. They will spook

Deer nearby do NOT pay attention to wicks soaked in this urine during the rut — they only cared about the bait. Bucks will sniff, eat and put their noses in real urine but not this stuff. Smells like deer urine to me but apparently doesn’t contain the necessary chemicals to trigger bucks.

Extremely poor substitute. Too oily to handle and did not attract deer as the real stuff does. Actually appeared to repel deer of both sexes.

Rinks was my go to for deer scents, not anymore. I watched bucks walk right by the scents with no interest at all.
