DEWALT ATOMIC 20V MAX* 1/2 in. Cordless Impact Wrench with Hog Ring Anvil (Tool Only) (DCF921B)

I had a pneumatic impact that could barely move the blade bolts on my zero turn. First time I tried this Dewalt, it didn’t even flinch. Popped them right off. Don’t have to drag the air line out either. Definitely worth every penny!

It’s a great impact gun. Incredibly powerful for its size. The fact that it slows down after a nut loosens is fantastic.My only complaint is that it’s very difficult to get a socket onto it. I have the Hog Ring Anvil Model (DCF921B), and perhaps the problem is my sockets, but getting them onto the gun is nearly impossible at times. Very annoying.

I have over the last 30 years as a auto mechanic I have owned several brands on battery powered impacts Marco,SnaponChase dewalt once I got the dewalt it was love as first impact have owned seven different generations of impact and this I the most bang for the buck hands down power to remove just about ant automotive bolt and small as can be and punch like a the big boysHigh quality and size big selling points weight also a huge thing as it’s light

Great tool to have in the shop, tons of power

I genuinely appreciate the compact size and impressive power of this tool. With the 1/2x1/4 impact adapter, I can easily use it as a nut driver for both lag screws and smaller screws, utilizing the 1/4 bits from my nut driver set. Additionally, the versatility of this tool allows me to remove the adapter and seamlessly switch to my 1/2 drive impact sockets. This capability ensures that I can efficiently remove and tighten the lug bolts on all my vehicles, always meeting the required specifications. The best part is that I no longer need to deal with cumbersome air hoses, making my work much more convenient and streamlined.

I have the Earthquake with 800 ft-lbs breaking torque, but it's twice the size of this 921B. Motor is very smooth. Feels very powerful. Initial ordered the 922B, but sockets fitted loose, so got this instead. Glad I did. Sockets fitted snug.

I'm an older guy that started off using hand tools. I didn't have enough money to invest in an air compressor and fancy pneumatic tools. Those were for the auto-mechanic's shops, not me. I felt fortunate to just be able to have some socket wrench sets.DEWALT ATOMIC 20V MAX* 1/2 in. Cordless Impact Wrench is so fast and so lightweight, I'm wondering why I didn't get it when it first came out. I use it to change lawnmower blades and tires when they go flat. I'm sure I'll find many other uses for it as well.It's just the right size for me. At 2.4 pounds and up to 300 ft-lbs of fastening torque and 450 ft-lbs of breakaway torque, it's right in the middle of what's available. The larger one at around 8 pounds would be much too heavy to use on a constant basis and twice the price.
