I bought this for use inside of roller rinks for roller derby. The tint is pretty dark but that is what I wanted. I've used it for a couple of weeks and it has held up well against the hits its taken.

I actually got this because it looks so awesome but had no idea how it would work out on the ice.Turns out, pretty good! The tint isn't as dark inside as you would think it would be since from the front view is basically mirrored. The color from inside view is a sunglass brownish, not blue or grey. It's like wearing barely tinted sunglasses. Everything is crystal clear, not enhanced in any way, just takes the bright white down a few notches. Advantage > Goalie can't see your eyes when approaching which is brutal for reading the play *wink*.I've attached many visors and if you know, you know. It's a pain. Most need to be really pulled tight to bolt on and finding the right spacers, etc. I popped this on a CCM and Bauer without using spacers, just lined up and bolted on perfectly. Probably the easiest installation ever. It does come with extra bolts, plugs and spacers to fit, I would assume, most modern day helmets. Kind feel like Robocop, I dig it.

I've been a huge hockey fan since 2007 when I started seeing Alex Ovechkin playing and I saw he had a tinted visor and I wanted one too. This one was exactly like the one he used in his rookie year in the NHL!
