Okay, how do I open it up to change from steady to flashing mode? Do you just twist it to unscrew it? Tried that, doesn't seem to want to unscrew!

From what I remember, it does unscrew (it was a bit tight, but it did come apart with some effort). It wasn't threaded, but simply twisted a few degrees and then the parts separated. When will you have the 3 layer with buzzer light available? also, can i order them with blue instead of yellow? i am looking at getting 15 lights...

Great solution but you need your own power supply

I’m using this in my garage with a 12vdc power brick I had laying around. Got to use my soldering skills after many years to connect it up. I have the brick plugged into a smart plug, controlled by Home Assistant. I use this to light up the lamp when the home security system is armed. So family members coming in thru the garage at night get a visual indication of the state of the security system. Light is bright and has options for steady or flashing. Very well made and fit my use case perfectly.

Worked and filled my requirement

I needed an indicator lamp and this fit the bill, I'ts looks good from a distance, looks cheaper up close, but well worth the money spent.

nice, but not bright enough for outside daytime use

I really wish it was brighter. The design of it was perfect for the intended mounting location, and I really like the way it looks. However, it was very dim. I can see it being good for indoor, or nighttime use....but outside during the day it simply isn't bright enough. From 100' away (and on an overcast day too) we were unable to detect the LEDs flashing.
