2015 GMC Yukon SLT
This product fixed my DVD player screen that stopped functioning, easy installation, all you need is a screw driver and a small ratchet, you can find easy walk-through video's online. Took 15 minutes, saved $400-$600 dealer quote. You can do it yourself easily!

They worked great
DVD players in our 15 gmc Yukon xl Denali stopped working and we looked up dvd players and it was gonna be upwards of $900-$1200 to replace them. Decided to spend a little over $40 on new wire strips and they work like new now. Photos are of the ones I took out. The only difference is the new ones aren’t coated with the extra insulation and the new ones don’t have the notches on the sides so you have to make sure you get them in all the way before you flip down the wire lock on the unit. Next it takes longer to take the unit apart than it does to replace the wires. It’s about a half hour job for each unit. Tools needed are a 7mm socket and ratchet wrench and a cross tip screwdriver and a smaller flat tip screwdriver for getting the screen molding apart and the cover for the four 7mm bolts. Make sure to keep the screws from the screen and the main unit separated because there a bit shorter and the screws from the screen mount are a different thread (4 of them) otherwise easy job anyone could do it just take your time.

Works
There were cheaper "40 pin ribbon cables" but none that specifically said they worked with GMC vehicle. Not knowing if they would be the proper dimension I went with this one. May have overpaid but honestly for $20 it fixed the TV, the kids can watch Bluey again, and I saved several hundred over a new monitor so I am happy.

Fixed 2015 GMC Sierra Entertainment System
I was too lazy to find this cable cheaper somewhere else because I think it's over priced but $20 was worth it to save me the hassle of finding the correct ribbon cable somewhere else. It fit perfectly and fixed my monitor. Was a simple repair and I think anyone could do it.

My husband was able to fix our suvs dvd player. It now shows the movie on the tv again. He watched a u tube video and saw this was the part that breaks and is simple to repair.
