Thick, woolly and very very warm.
I ordered a size 10, a little bigger than the 9.5 footwear I usually choose to allow for thick lounge socks. I probably could have got away with a smaller size because they are quite spacious.They feel great, they gently hug my lower legs and I can't imagine ever having cold feet again.The soles are soft and don't allow for quick trips outside to put the bins out, strictly indoors only.I'm really pleased with them, I only hope that they last a few years.It looks like I've stolen the lower legs from a polar bear!Very much recommended.Update edit:I've raised my rating from 4 to 5 stars because these boots do their job outstandingly well. I suffer from Raynaud's and my feet and lower legs turn white in all but the warmest conditions. When I feel this happening I jump into these and within 20-30 minutes my lower legs are pink again, it's quite remarkable.The suede soles won't stand up to much abuse but the uppers feel like they could last for years. I know they don't cost much for what they do but if the soles wear out I'll get a seamstress friend to stitch new ones on.I absolutely love these things and I highly recommend them for any others suffering with Raynaud's in their lower legs/feet.Bonus; my cat loves them too, she's always rubbing against them. Unfortunately this means I occasionally trip over her....but she loves the wool so much she keeps coming back for more 😄

Big warm boots for cold feet
I purchased these for my partner as a gift. He’s very fussy and fickle when it comes to certain things, slippers being one.When they arrived they looked fine if not slightly big and like a Viking boot.He loves them, says his feet don’t get too hot and they’re comfortable. A leather moving sole would have made him more ecstatic about them. Almost Perfect!

Warm ankles at last, brilliant!
Brilliant! Warm ankles at last, wearing them everyday since bought! Only quibble is that they are quite tight around my calf, so the heel/ankle has slouched down a little, but a minor gripe. Would love a thigh high version of these with outdoor soles (these are strictly indoor soles).
