Not only is this a beautiful book with amazing imagery, this is one of the best comics I’ve ever read. From start to finish supergirls character is built and understood more than potentially any other. She’s complex, thoughtful, and carries a weight that is awe inspiring. This is a must read comic whether you have read a super girl comic or not. This is a wonderful introduction to one of the most underrated characters in the DC universe.

This is a wonderful book in so many ways! It's finally the treatment Supergirl deserves, by all-stars Tom King, Bilquis Evely and Mat Lopes, the latter whose coloring is supremely beautiful. This deluxe edition has all the issues in it with their covers and alternate covers, of course, plus a lot of background materials. It's a great edition. I should note it's called "oversized" in King's Instagram posts and while it is full of extras, it's a standard size hardcover collection, just a little bit thicker--the dimensions are otherwise normal! Still, I pre-ordered this as soon as it was announced!
