Great food for my picky eater
My cats are eating another wellness brand food that my 8 year old boy wasn’t too excited over. I bought him the chicken morsels and he’ll eat the entire can. So happy to have found something he’ll eat since he’s such a picky eater!

Best food around
My cats (kittens, really, about a year old now) LOVE this product. They've eaten as much as two and a half 3 ounce cans each in one sitting (though I try to limit these to one in the morning, and one in the evening each). I've tried all kinds of wellness products - they grew up on wellness so I can't talk to how a cat might transition to this product from something else. I've tried giving them the turkey recipe, the chicken and herring, the regular chicken (none of these were cubed), and the cubed turkey and they just love this recipe over everything else. The first few days after we rescued them, they were REALLY sick - upper respiratory infections, diarrhea, the works - and their coats were so filthy we had to give them a bath as soon as we got them home. Their fur constantly stuck together as if it was sticky, even after we cleaned them. After a month of wellness for the male and a month and a half for the female, they literally look like they're glowing now. Their fur looks great and they haven't been sick since (it's been a year!). I can't say more positive things about this product.

but they would occasionally refuse to eat if they don't like the consistency/flavor
My two indoor cats have been on an wet food diet for the past 4 years. I have tried many different brands of wet food until a few months ago when I switched to Wellness. My cats are not very picky, but they would occasionally refuse to eat if they don't like the consistency/flavor. I have bought 6 cases of different flavors so far, and they seemed to enjoy most of them. I am happy with the switch and will continue to feed them Wellness because I noticed improvements in their digestion (they used to throw up occasionally, it doesn't happen anymore) and in their coats (very shiny, no more dandruff). All in all, they loved:- Signature Chunky Beef & Chicken, Tuna & Wild Salmon, Cubed Tuna, and Shredded Chicken& Chicken Liver.Didn't like:-CORE Whitefish and Salmon: They would it eat, but I'm never buying it again. It made their poop smell terrible every time they would have it.-Cubed Chicken: Not a favorite, they would leave half the cubes in the bowl after licking the gravy.

Quality control is horrible. Cans contain mostly water.
Food quality:I ordered the 5 oz chicken slices after having tried the 3 oz sampler pack and found my cats liked the slice chicken. Of the 24 cans in the pack, around 20% of than cans contained water with a few chicken pieces. I had to combine 2 cans to get enough chicken that my cat could eat. I contacted the company and they said that just happens sometimes and offered to mail me a coupon. I’m not paying $70 for water. See my photo. That’s 2 cans worth of food.

Cats love it - Often receive wrong flavor
Cats go crazy for the sliced chicken. BUT....3/10 orders I've gotten have been of the wrong flavor or consistency. Quick 10 min call and I have always been refunded but can be annoying to see you received the wrong food a day before you run out...

Have used wellness for years. All time favorite cat food brand.
Have fed all my kitties mainly Wellness for many many years. High quality ingredients, cats love it. Many different flavors and textures for variety. Even the outdoor cats sometimes hold out for this instead of the more affordable food I have to mostly feed them. It's not cheap, but there are definitely higher priced foods out there. Seems like human food, quality ingredients cost more.

A healthy food for your cat and It keeps your vet bills low!
Based on various research and articles comparing cat foods, Wellness is one of the better cat foods in the market. My 10 year old DMH Calico cat can be finicky at times when it comes to her meals. She always enjoys the sliced Chicken entrée which includes real chicken, chicken broth and a thick gravy. I always mix this food with a little warm water which increases the smell of the chicken and her appetite. Wellness cat foods are "grain free" so the protein in the product comes from non-grain sources. This cat food does not contain meal by-products, corn, wheat, soy, artificial preservatives, flavors and colors. This cat food helps keep my cat happy from a digestive perspective and my vet bills lower! Her coat is always very shiny and she rarely has any hairball issues. The 3oz cat food is generally more expensive through the big pet store chains however the price on amazon is quite competitive and more affordable. Wellness is available for both cats and dogs. I would definitely recommend this product to other pet owners.

It's good food especially if the right flavor arrives.
It's what my cat likes, usually, although sometimes he doesn't think so; others have noted some inconsistency. I have ordered this over 40 times and usually it's ok but sometimes Amazon ships the wrong flavor. Salmon is not chicken; perhaps the robots need to be re-programmed because to err is human. Just be aware that if the robots ship the wrong flavor you won't be able to send it back or get a refund. It's in the fine print in the returns section, although the order section says otherwise. So unless you want to risk getting stuck with $40 of the wrong flavor cat food, you might want to check other sources because almost all of them take returns, especially when their robots make mistakes!
